Utah Eyelid and Facial Plastic Surgery

I was having trouble with droopy eyelids and my eye Doctor suggested that I see Dr. McCann to have him review the problem. I made an appointment with his staff. Dr. McCann definitely thought he could help me with the problem. My Surgery was on 2 Dec. 2013. with visits after to see how everything was coming along. I was released on 17 Mar. 2014.\r I would like to say that it was a wonderful experience with a great staff and Doctors. I recommend Dr. McCann's group to anyone needing surgery of this kind. I had an excellent experience with Dr. McCann. He did eyelid lift surgery on both of my eyes. He listened and answered all of my questions and was patient and kind. I also had positive experience with all of his staff. They are so pleasant and helpful. If I ever have more facial surgery, I will definitely go to Dr. McCann and would recommend him to anyone. An amazing and satisfying experience! I had skin cancer at the base of my nose and it required a plastic surgeon to close the delicate area adjacent to the eye. Dr. McCann came highly recommended by the cancer surgeon at the University of Utah. From the moment I walked into his office, his staff was courteous and understanding.\r Dr. McCann explained the procedure of closing the cancer removal and proceeded in a kind and professional way to assure I would not have anything showing on my nose after his surgery. \r The follow-up has been extraordinary! I loved my experience with Dr. McCann. I had both eyes operated on. I felt at ease talking to him and he was so professional. He knew exactly what to do to help me. I can't believe how much better I see, no more headaches, and I look better! His office staff is great. If you want an experienced professional to help you with eye surgery, he is definately the one to see. He did listen to me and he is reasonable. I don't like Dr.s that tell you you need something done when you don't. He is conservative and will telll you what is best for your situation. I am a registerred nurse and am very picky who takes care of me. I highly recommend Dr. McCann! more

She really just couldn't give me any straight answers or even have the pride in her company to tell me that the questions I had could be answered one on one with a doctor. I gave the office the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to schedule and see Dr. McCann anyways. I should have known better from my first contact. Dr. McCann kept interupting me and bouncing his leg up and down in frustration. He was pursing his lips and kept looking at his nurse and giving her irritated looks. I was there for something I planned on paying for out of pocket... I think I will wait until I can find a doctor who actually gives off the vibe that he loves his job. What a pathetic excuse for a physician. more

He was very honest in telling me that a facelift would not address the areas that bothered me. I took his word for it and did eyelid rejuvenation surgery instead. I can NOT believe how amazing I look. I feel more confident in myself and everyone at work keeps asking what my secret is. I planned the recovery so that I could leave town and come back looking 'refreshed'. He did such a wonderful job. I would never trust my face to anyone else! more

Dr. McCann is simply the best and I want everyone to know it!! I've had it all done from botox injections to surgery and I have never had a better doctor. I visited a lot of plastic surgeons in Utah for consultations and injections. No one was more informative, patient and made me feel as comfortable as Dr. McCann, and his staff is wonderful. When I visited all of the doctors, I did so to test their technique and outcomes with injections before I trusted anyone to do surgery on my face. It was obvious after my first visit to Dr. McCann for injections (botox and filler) that he was undoubtedly the best! My results were stellar and I felt that Dr. McCann was the only doctor I would feel comfortable doing my surgeries. It was the best decision I've ever made- I have never been happier and it was obvious to me that I could not have found a better surgeon anywhere. I feel so fortunate that I found Dr. McCann-he is a true artist. more

He promises you all sorts of things, takes your money. Injects fillers that cause all sorts of lumps and bumps...creating worse problems then before you saw him to begin with. He refuses to fix anything. Once he gets your money, he does not keep any promises and treats you like dirt. He walks out in the middle of conversations with you and refuses to even follow through on anything he said he would do in the beginning. I have never seen anything like this doctor. He makes any problem areas worse than they were before seeing him. He does not follow through on his promises when he sells you various procedcures. If there is ever a problem after he gets your money, he is so arrogant and disrespectful and will not fix any problems he caused. He is terrible at injectable fillers causing all sorts of lumps and bumps where there were none before. He sells you on botox, but does not use enough to even be able to tell. He says you can come back for more botox, free of charge after 10 days if he did not put enough in, but then refuses to do so when you return. Stay away from this doctor!
