I used to study here while in Law School. great crowd, good food, love the outside patio!

Worst

Had our 2.5 year old who is great at restaurants, tried to order from the Kid's Menu a Turkey Panini, but asked them not to ""panini"" it because our daughter isn't really into me...

Urth Caffe 4/10/2006

Urth Caffe is a fabulous place to people watch and drink environmentally conscious drinks. The drinks are high on quality and are cleverly named. The atmosphere of this place manages to be quite cozy as well as urban, and hip- which is a difficult fence to straddle. The decor includes warm fireplaces, intimately small tables, books to read, and various homey touches like a candle on each table. I love this place and continue to visit it often. more

Better than I thought it would be 10/1/2005

If I could go to this place and just get some dang coffee and a snack, life would be great. But that's not going to happen because not only is this a place where "young Hollywood" likes to be seen, but the food and coffee is actually good-no, great. I have tried to go at different times (to coordinate with my Beverly Center or Melrose Ave. trips), but it's always freakin' busy. I would eat there more if my mocha wasn't cold by the time I got back to my car. more

Very good indeed 9/22/2005

Yes, this is the kind of cafe you would look for after a long walk shopping on Melrose Ave. A very local and unique cafe, they have seatings both indoor, out at the patio, and in front of the cafe along the sidewalk. Their hot chocolate is what I would recommend. They also have delicious chocolate cakes and other desserts and beverages. more
