Editorial review from Citysearch 2/21/2013

After several other doctors told us we didn't have much chance of conceiving naturally, Dr. Singh suggested I try a Vericocele repair surgery, pointing us to some recent research showing the high success rate of improving sperm count. In less than 6 months, my wife was pregnant and my count was dramatically higher. We now have a 5 month old son. I would highly recommend Dr. Singh for any male infertility issues. more

Dr. Singh - Awesome Doc! 5/19/2012

Dr. Singh is an awesome physician! He listened with empathy and offered my husband a prompt and realistic solution. Whether you are trying to conceive or dealing with a sensitive male scenario, Dr. Singh diagnosed and treated him with dignity as well as listened to us. Our visit to Urology Specialists of Austin with Dr. Singh has given us much hope and peace of mind. I would recommend him, hands down!\r Thank you Dr. Singh!\r more

Dr Singh - AWESOME Doctor!! 4/18/2012

I discovered I had kidney cancer during an unrelated - unexpected - otherwise healthy encounter with the hospital. Dr. Singh was called in (St. Davids) and was VERY thorough in explaining the options, the probabilities and the known facts around my situation. I found the Doctor to be VERY professional, VERY knowledgeable, and personable. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone. I have made two trips to his (and others in the group) office on Red River. The office is a bit dated, but I would definitely go back. I found Dr. Singh's nurse pleasant as well as the rest of the staff. I must say if I had read the other reviews on this site I may have been dissuaded, but now I am so glad that he is treating me. I can look past a dated office for his excellent care and treatment. Best Vasectomy Reverser in Austin 10/6/2011

Dr. Singh performed a vasectomy reversal on me approximately 5 years ago when I was 54 years of age. At that time my vasectomy had been done approximately 8 years earlier. The surgery was a success as my wife and I now have a son that is four and a daughter that is 3. We highly recommend Dr. Singh as the results speak for themselves. more

Not The Same 2/4/2010

Since becoming an 18 doctor outfit(formerly 4), the Red River office of Urology Austin has gone downhill(don't know about any other location). Staff has to ask me why I'm there(I have an appointment, kind of hope they would know that), a medication was listed in my records that I've never been prescribed, disappearing specimens, staff is less friendly(maybe they don't like the changes either)-and it's pay before seeing the doc now. I was feeling like a stepchild, but it looks like others have had similar experiences. Can't fault the actual medical treatment, but it looks like the place is sincerely after the dollar. Pros: parking, good magazines Cons: why are you here? more

Awful experience 1/21/2009

I was seen by Dr. Horan. He was hurried and disinterested. I had to come back for a cystoscopy. The procedure was painful and he was indifferent to the pain he was causing. The office was dirty, the equipment was as old as the building, and the wait was long. Pros: Free parking Cons: Old equipment, dirty office, indifferent staff, rude doctor. more

Wasted Time, Insurance claims, and bad attitude 5/13/2008

I was sent to Dr. McClelland and Urology Specialists of Austin for a checkup on something that turned out to be routine. The first visit was extremely difficult with a long wait, but I had not met the doctor and I understand that sometimes schedules get away from them throughout a day. The second visit was to cover the results of this test. Again, understandable, but unfortunately I had to wait almost 2 hours for the pleasure. The signs by the front desk indicate various penalties for late arrival, but when the doctor was running two hours late, no phone call to reschedule was made. The third visit was a follow up 6 months later and consisted of a 45 minute wait , a 90 second conversation with the doctor and a referal to an imaging center; something that could have been done over the phone. The follow up on that test was done over the phone at my insistance rather than the office visit they wanted. This last time was the final straw. Again, a 45 minute to one hour wait followed by 90 seconds for the referral. It has been over a week since my test and still no call with the results. I called a few moments ago and was treated as a burden. It must be nice to have too many patients. I'll do my part, once I get my results, and take my business elsewhere. Pros: Easy to find Cons: Crabby staff, overscheduled doctor, dingy waiting area. more
