Expensive and spammy 7/5/2011

Good: I liked the atmosphere and the staff seems knowledgeable.. Bad: They told me they wouldn't use the email address I provided for their home delivery service to send me spam, but then a few months later they did exactly that, and were completely unresponsive when I asked them to remove me.. Improvements: Cheaper pet food, more selection, and 100% less lying about how they plan to use my personal information.. Other: I shop elsewhere now. I won't be going back.. more

Great source for raw and organic pet foods! 5/2/2008

We switched our 3 year old cat to raw chicken and raw lamb. He was disgusted at first but after about a week he came around and has loved it ever since! Plus he is healthy, lean and very playful now. And his coat is gorgeous. It''s a much more natural diet for him than the carb-rich dry "food" we had been feeding him. Thanks Urbanimal for making it available! more

For pet lovers with urban attitude 10/31/2005

Urbanimal is a great little Uptown pet supply shop with enough character to make it a local fav. They carry a wide selection of pet foods, accessories, etc., not to mention they have resident pets that lounge around the shop and don't mind a little attention while you're shopping! One thing that really sets them apart is their saucy humor in their advertising. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just visit their website. more

Cool Pet Supplies for the Hip Dog or Cat 8/13/2005

Urbanimal looks like a converted loft space, and has the trendy pet supplies to match. Wall shelves are filled with the latest and greatest chew toys, clothing accessories, etc. The quality of their products is always very good. I couldn't stand the smell of the basted meat bones we got for our dog at Petsmart-but the ones we purchased here weren't offensive at all. They also carry a variety of specialty dog foods for pets who need more than a standard grocery store brand of food. Another plus is that they are located right across the street from the Wedge Co-op. So you can get gourmet treats for you and your pet all in one trip. They also offer dog training classes onsite. more

Urbanimal is fun and a great place for pet supplies 7/29/2005

I like to go to Urbanimal because they are a small company that is friendly. Every Tuesday they have a buy one bucket get the other free on cat litter you fill yourself. They have cute animals living there. Big selection of food and litter. Lots of toys, too. The staff is very knowledgeable. I've always had good experiences there. more
