Great plant selection 2/10/2009

This was the first time I actively sought out landscapers in the NYC area. Scccarry. Luckily, I ran into Urban relatively early on my travels. We needed a company to come in and freshen up out garden area with new c combination of annuals and perennials. There were a few local landscapers that appeared to be professional and well dressed to the estimate, but I was amazed by the knowledgeable staff of UP. They not only came up with a great design concept, but used flowers and plants that I had never seen before and did not even think were indigenous to New York. Kudos to the maintenance and design teams! Pros: excellent quality more

NY Landscape Design company 1/31/2009

Urban designed our Landscape in the city as well as our Connecticut home. In both situations they have an exceptional ability to maximize the space and make it extremely functional. We entertain fairly often and we can seat twice as many people as before. They seem to be very attentive to all details and know their staff. We always have something in flower. Best landscape management company around 1/21/2009

I saw them on Park Ave, I guess they landscape the medians. We have used Urban Plantscapes several times for building downtown. Their work is quality. There designs are unbelievable; our design team came up with the perfect solution for our lobby. With all of the flowers and plants you think you were somewhere else than NYC in January. I recommend them to all of our clients for their individual offices and apartments. Pros: Interior and Exterior landscaping all in one more

Best Indoor Landscaper in New York City (plant watering) 1/20/2009

For years my wife and I have had numerous struggling plants at work and home. We heard about Urban Plantscapes after seeing them on channel 4. They basically bring in plants, flowers and pottery match them to your decor and light levels. Once everything is installed they guarantee everything. Our plants in New York look great as well as our orchids, bromeliads and gerber daisies in our New Jersey suburban home. The always mix up the color in the plant rotation, bright reds, yellows, pink, purple, burgundy, white, orange, etc. Some of these flowers I have never seen before, but are extremely cool. The best interior landscaper in NYC area (plant watering service) 1/20/2009

Urban Plantscapes is by far the best plant watering service in New York & New Jersey. I have experienced a few different interior landscapers, but this company?s customer service is by far the greatest in the NYC / New Jersey area. We have Urban maintain our office in NYC and our townhouse in NJ houseplants; they come in and go to work. Watering, fertilizing, cleaning and rotating they just look perfect. I cannot speak enough about their orchids, trust me try their orchid rotation, it saves us about $1000 a year compared to our previous floral vendor. Plus we have never received so may compliments on the foliage and flowers. Pros: Plant and flower quality aswell as knowledgable horticulturalists. Cons: still looking... more

Exotic interior flowers 11/19/2008

I cannot say enough good things about them. We brought in Urban Plantscapes (NYCL) after a few not so good experiences with other landscapers. It has now been five years since we brought Urban in to service our plants and take care of all of our Holiday Decor. With the current recession and bad news it is a great escape from reality to be surrounded by beauty. I cannot wait to see the poinsettias this year. more

Plant rentals NYC 9/14/2008

I love this flower company. We saw their plants and flowers on NBC and most recently at the Fall Fashion Show in Bryant Park. They have the most beautiful tropicals and annuals. They had huge mums like I have never seen. We use them for all of our events and plant rentals. They always work with us and match everything to our decor. I have always seen Urban Plantscapes trucks in NY, I was happy to see them in NJ too. Urban landscapes also takes care of my brothers company?s plants in Jersey and do a wonderful job. There house plants always look amazing with such interesting varieties. Pros: Beautiful NY NJ flower company more

Great Plants and Flower rental service 8/17/2008

I called Urban Plantscapes last minute for an instant improvement to our home in the city for an open house. After 5 open houses an no prospective buyers, we decided to bring in a real estate stager. We still had no results even with new furniture and removing the clutter. I decided to look up Urban Plantscapes after seeing them on Open House NYC (NBC) They came in with a very reasonable quote for the plant and flower rentals and even maintained the plants while the house was on the market. Incredible Plant Specialist (NYC area) 8/7/2008

I learned about this company after seeing their plants an flowers on the Today Show. Urban Plantscapes is by far the most creative landscaping company I have seen in the New York City area. Their choices of plant material as well as pottery have enhanced our decor. We constantly receive compliments on our roof top garden in midtown and our interior plantings and flowers in our down town office. They come out and visit our office plants every week to water and fertilize all of our plants and flowers. We know can brag that our company is totally Green. We have provided our employees and visitors a beautiful, but more importantly a healthy work environment. Pros: Amazing house and office plants more

Excellent local interior plant company 6/4/2008

We are located at 100 Park Building, just a few floors from Urban Plantscapes - Indoor landscapes. We had a few plants that we get throught the years. Some of the plants have sentimental value an were a little bit preicy. We thought we should bring in a professional plant and flower firm. They maintain all of our plants and flowers and some exterior plants at one of retail locations. more

Great NYC office plant company 5/20/2008

I work as an office manger in a medium size company in Manhattan. We have accumulated lots of plants and flowers thought the years. One of my coworkers told me about a company that comes and waters (maintains) our plants and flowers. Long story, short. We have been using Urban Plantscapes for over 4 years now. I love how they constantly keep our office space looking fresh and lively. They even brought in all new pots with no drainage holes for the plants. They look great and they blend in with our decor. Great indoor plant and flower company (NYC) 4/23/2008

I live and work on the upper east side of the city. Home of the most overpriced flower shops and orchids in all of New York City. I was happy to find this local flower / plant company that delivers all items and does a wonderful job with our house plants and green roof garden. They also deliver creative live gifts for our friend and family through the NYC metro area!!! Pros: No retail - less expensive Cons: No retail more
