Usually, I carpool to work with my mother; but decided to come a little later this past Tuesday. After looking here on Yelp, I was glad to find Ur Cab and a company right here in Foster City for that matter. They even arrived a few minutes early and the driver was very courteous and professional. This is definitely one of the cleanest cabs I had ridden in; it might have been a Prias judging how quiet it was or maybe a Town Car; in any case, after verbally imputing information into the GPS, I was at Mills-Peninsula in Burlingame in no time. For $33.00, I could not beat it. So, for clean cabs, a smooth ride, and friendly professional on time service, Ur Cab cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.! more

My new spouse and I needed to get to the airport and back from San Mateo with lots of luggage for our 3 week honeymoon in Spain. After finding several cab companies that only advertised pickups in SF and cities north of the airport, we finally found this company just over in Foster City with several good reviews. I admit, it was partly the name that inclined me to choose them (being a fan of LOLcats). We made reservations for both trips and gave them times and flight numbers. They were on time and courteous (though not overtly friendly) for the pickup, loaded all our luggage, and got us to the airport in plenty of time. On the flight back we actually landed early and called them to check on where to meet our driver. Even though we were nearly half an hour early he was already on his way and got to the airport before our luggage was out. He waited for us in the cell phone lot and we made arrangements for what section of the curb we would be at. There was some minor confusion with the airport cab coordinator trying to waive us into line but when we shouted ""we reserved this one!"" he backed off and let us load. This driver was actually friendly and chatty (but not too much, which was good since at 24h awake I wasn't up for making a whole lot of conversation) and got us home in good time. The cost of the trip was similar to what a group shuttle would have cost and without the having to wait for other folks to be picked up and dropped off. I would definitely call Ur Cab again. more

What a nice guy! I had a job interview yesterday and had last minute car problems right before it. I knew it would be expensive but instead of taking the bus/light rail, I figured the taxicab would be worth it so I'd be less stressed and able to focus. I made an online reservation and the dispatch guy called me a few minutes later to confirm. The taxi cab driver came right when I asked, picked me up from Menlo Park and drove me to San Francisco. Luckily there was no traffic and by the time we got there, I still had some time before my interview. I was hungry and we saw a McDonald's nearby. So the driver went over and got into the drive through line. I was worried about the meter and told him I'd just go inside and walk back to the office. But he said not to worry about the meter. Instead, he stayed in the drive through line, waited with me and even treated me to coffee! When we got back to the office for my interview, I pulled out my credit card. (Don't remember the exact meter he gave me discount. He said that since I was looking for a job, he didn't want me to pay full price. Not only did he calm my stresses about my interview, he treated me to coffee and gave me a huge discount......he TOTALLY MADE MY DAY!!!!. It's people and small businesses like this that treat there clients really well. more

I have used Ur Cab & Limo Service twice now to get from Foster City ( San Mateo ) to the San Francisco International airport. Both times the taxi cab has been at least 5 minutes early and given me a call that they are waiting outside. The main reason for the rating is the taxi cab drivers. Both of them were very courteous but also very funny and able to make the trip to a great time! It have felt like waving good bye to an old friend when they've dropped me off at the sfo airport, I was picked up by friends when I got back, but I call you next time! =) ). The only concern could be the taxi cabs. They have been very clean and latest model sometime. Once it has been hybrid toyota prius taxi cab and 2nd time that was lincoln town car in taxi cab rates. more

I schedule my taxi cab ride from San Francisco City to SFO within a few hours of needing to leave. As others mentioned, the taxi cab driver, Jimmy, arrived early, made sure that I had my seat belt on and calmly got me to the san francisco international airport on time. (I've had ENOUGH of the crazy Yellow taxi cab drivers!) He scheduled my pick up for when I returned at 8pm on a Friday night and was there even though my plane arrived 20 minutes late and he had been working since 8 am. Great taxi cab service. I will for sure call them for my next trip. more

I usually take early morning flights from san francisco international airport. I need a reliable taxi cab transportation for my pick up. I found Ur Cab & Limo on city search. Taxi cab always few minutes early or on time for late night pick ups when i arrived on sfo airport. They deserve this review.
