So I purchase a great used car, 2009 MKZ. Wonderful sales service and closing process. Had my car for 3 weeks and the driver side heated seat module goes out. call and schedule service was told that it was not cover under the warranty that I purchased and that the dealership would cover 1/2 of the $350 for a new module. I said, ""I have only had the car for 3 weeks and have not made a first payment; it worked when I drove it off the lot, this is unfair and I am not happy with service"". Talk with the GM to provide my feedback and he told me that he felt that I was threatening him with giving feedback online; after the awkward silence, I walked out. What a tool. \r \r I love my MKZ but I will never purchase a new model from Uptown. Once you sign on the dotted line, the service and customer care means absolutely nothing. \r Let me be clear, the initial service and care is very different after the purchase. more

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!! 11/30/2010

First off let me say that I am not a mechanic and all comments in this review are MY OWN OPINION!! Second I will never buy another Ford product because of Uptown. I purchased a new 2008 Ford Escape XLT, since then it has been to the dealership twice for transmission problems. The first time was fine, The second time however was a crock. The service tech (Fred) was in my opinion a total prick. . He told me the clutch belt needed to be replaced, which is fine except that it is a automatic transmission and therefore in my opinion since I am not a mechanic, has no clutch. On top of that it took 6 days to complete the repairs, technically 5 since one of the days was Thanksgiving on which I am sure they were closed. So if you want to buy a car here in my opinion, don't, take the bus instead, even standing in the rain and snow is less of a headache than dealing with these, in my opinion,decieving pricks. Also the only reason I gave them one star above is because I had to in order to publish this review. more
