Uptown Communications

Like the person who complained that this jackass parked his truck outside their building early in the morning and blasted the stereo, I have a complaint and I haven't even hired them to do anything. The same truck parked behind my car, had plenty of space, and parked the truck with his bumper pressed against mine. He's got five feet to spare between the rear of his truck and the driveway. Normally I'd say it was irrelevant, but obviously this jerk is not someone you want in your home. more

Uptown Comm gets zero stars but that's not allowed by Citysearch. I live downtown near police blockades that have been there since days after 9/11. An Uptown Comm tech was sent by Time Warner to repair the cable service in my apt. Since the technician couldn't use the most direct route to get into the building, he refused to even hear any other way of getting in that went around the blockades. Apparently, any other technical service provider can adjust and find a way into the buildings in the area, except for Uptown Communications. Another day lost waiting for Time Warner or, in this case, Uptown Comm. Also, speaking the dispatch service supervisor, Dora, is useless. If Time Warner wants to stop bleeding customer base, it would do well to dump Uptown Comm. Cons: the people who work for them more

This morning, an extremely considerate employee of Uptown Communications from 502 54th Ave, Long Island City (I read it on the side of his truck), parked his car outside my house at around 8:30 AM on a Saturday. He blasted music so loud that it woke me and my girlfriend up on the 7th floor of our building and we couldn't get back to sleep. He was just sitting around in his car doing nothing. For most of us who live in New York, we know how annoying it is when someone is obnoxious and loud outside of our building at an early hour. That someone is Uptown Communications.
