Upper Deck Ale and Sports Grille

My girlfriends and I went to the Upper Deck for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. I had the She Crab soup and the Grouper bites and both were delish. My friends had a number of appertizers, a salad and burgers and everyone was saying how good the food was. We sat inside and were away from the roudy folks watching the game outside. The waiter was very nice and we had no complaints with the bar drinks we ordered. I strongly recommend this place! more

Awesome place buy one get one free pizza's to go and buy one get one free beers. Only place i have been in miami that always had golf on everyday. By the way the pizza is amazing too more

i encourage pet owners to bring their dogs.\r management is happy to accommodate them.\r they can eat at a patio table with you or at the bar.\r loud barking and the odd bladder mishap dont seem to bother anyone.\r no limit on size or number of dogs.\r management prefer dogs to people!!!! more

They over serve there regular customers who become unruly and start fights. Service is weak at best. Food has not taste and is cold, probably because servers would rather talk to each other or BS with there drunk over served customers. When asked to get a game on the TV it never was put on, even asking the bartender several times. I did see her speak to the manager but he just poured his drunk friend another drink....even though he didn't need. one. Was trying to get my bill when the drunk guy that was being over served by the manager started beating up some guy at the bar. I tried to go out to the parking lot to get the drunks license but was stopped by some friend of the owner that calmed to be a cop and wasn't. The waitress gave me my bill and told me not to get involved because it was a friend of the owners. Paid my bill, spoke to the cops, talked to the guy that got beaten up and his girl friend. Turns out she got her purse stolen while his boyfriend was being beaten up. They ordered food and didn't want to eat it because of the trauma and the owner wanted to charge them for it. BTW the drunk friend of the owner know the Innocent guy over on top of a baby. Thank God the baby was okay. \r \r Bad food, bad service, drunk friends of the owners that get free drinks even when they don't need them. Check with Hallandale Police lots of problems there. Stay away unless you want to get into a fight and have management make sure you elude the cops more

This is a nice sports bar that also has a good restaurant feel to it. Their brick-oven pizza tastes great, but not sure if it is still offered. All the food I've had here has been good. Wings are nice. Appetizers taste good and fresh. Staff are friendly. Great location. They do karaoke once or twice a week. They also have a small, local Poker tournament a couple of times a week. Lot's of TV's around with sports on at all times. Over-all a very nice place. more

I have been to this place a few times since it opened. How bad is this place, where do I begin?\r How about the service or lack there of. Unless you are the only person at the bar then you will wait at least 10 minutes for your first drink. I have suffered this on several occasions.\r Food- is very basic and usually cold. I am guessing it's cold because it takes such a long time to get it. Appetizers come out in 20 minutes or longer. Once you get your food it's very bland and cold. \r I have complained to the manager who claimed he was the owner. and he didn't care. The last time I was there I didn't eat my food because it was cold., and I sent it back and told my server who just to take it off my bill. Next thing that happens is the manger who claimed he was also the own said if I didn't pay for the food I sent back he was going to call the police. I called his bluff and called the Hallandale Police and while I was on my cell phone with the dispatcher he said "there is no need for that I will comp your food", \r There are much better places in the area to see a game and have cold beer and good food with great service. My suggestion is don't even bother with this place. Go across the street to Flanigan's or down the road Miami Grill. At least there you will have Great Food, Good Service and management that want's repeat customers. Instead of someone that wants to call the police on you. \r I didn't even get to the point of wanting to watch a certain game. If the server/bartender even makes and effort and they do find the person with the remote, you may get to see the end of your game. Like I said WORST Sports Bar and Gille EVER!! I will never go back. \r \r BTW: before it was the Upper Deck it was "Red Fish Blue Fish" Same owners, I was there once. At Least then they comped the whole meal and gave us a free round of drinks afterwords. Now they just want to call the police on you. STAY AWAY!!! more
