(continued) he would sit and stare up at the ceiling for 20 minutes without a word.i would chime in and he would yell at me (shut up im thinking)i would hold back from telling this mother f-er off because i committed to having this room built by this hack i had to see it through. but believe me i was going to sit this @sshole down when the last nail was in to tell him he will never speak to me like i was his kid and if he was going to be offended (which he told me on numerous occasions) by my suggestions whether it be building the room or writing songs we would neve work together....i would just pay him for his work and be done with him. i guess all in all it is better that i found out before i went into business with this guy and before the room fell down. he kept saying, ""im starting to think that coming back to L.A. is the biggest mistake of my life"" no way franky boy...walking away from this and going back to nashville is the biggest mistake of your life!!! a little advice.....get off the meds bro!!!! more

the guy that ran this place turned out to be a real disappointment! i was starting to consider him a friend when all of a sudden he left me hanging with not even a half completed studio and the half that was completed turned out to be all wrong! i had a real builder come in and he told me ""who and the hell put this wall up??!@@#$"" it was not level and ready to fall down!!! let me back track.frank montoya was fired from working with the veronicas(warner bros) back in 2005/6 he was so devastated that he moved to nashville.i stayed in touch with him and saw how miserable he was so i asked him if he wanted to come back to L.A. and help me build a studio on a property i owned.instead of paying him ca$h we made an agreement (which is now null and void) that we would go into business together and whatever i wrote i would split publishing (not writers) with him 50/50. What a f-in deal he was getting cuz i write hits!!!! the project started off a little rocky from the get go.i purchased him a plane ticket and made arrangements to have his tools shipped out (3boxes of tools) not only did he not have them ready for pick up in time so they would be in L.A. before he landed...he had 18 boxes of his personal sh!t (guitars,amps,clothes,) that he had me pay for before we even got started! i had to store them in my house and they wreaked of old cigarette smoke. i had made arrangements for him to stay at my managers condo (plush pad with all the amenities, gym, pool, spa) and it was only 4 blocks away from the property. well mr. f-in complainer decided he didnt want to stay there and made me pick him up every day an hour away in rush hour traffic.when we finally started the room i would make suggestions and he would attack me like a grumpy old man yelling at his grand kid.his mood swings started becoming almost psychotic.he was here for three weeks and all we had up was the isolation wall.he would sit and stare up at the ceiling for 20 minutes without a word.
