I hate buying cars, it’s such a drag to buy a new car especially with those vulture salesmen. That’s why im so surprised at how wonderful Universal Hyundai is! They allowed me to look around without feeling like I was being stalked and didn’t ask me how I liked the car every 2 min. I went on a very pleasant test drive and finance was just as nice. The people at Universal Hyundai are so kind and nurturing I will definitely come back here when my wife’s lease it up! more

Great experience with Universal Hyundai. 11/23/2010

Let me begin to explain the five star rating. First star is for the cleaniness of the dealership and their vehicles. Every vehicle I looked at really seemed to be brand new, like it was just delivered in the morning. Second star is for the kind courtesy of the receptionist who never transferred me to wrong person on the phone. The rest of the three stars goes to the salesman and finance who made my purchasing a breeze. For competency and courtesy I highly recommend this dealership. more

Great service by Victor 11/20/2010

I have been trying to buy a Hyundai Genesis for last 3 month, shopped four dealerships in Orlando. At Universal Hyundai I paid $50 dollars per month less than any other dealer was requiring and I was treated like a real person and not just another customer. Most dealers see the customer as another profit paying person, not Universal. I want to thank Victor for his great customer service and friendly attitude. more

Helpful, Friendly and an overall good experience 8/31/2010

Although I have never really been a Hyundai fan per se, I can’t express what a great buying experience that I recently had at Universal Hyundai. I am so impressed with my 2010 Sonata and I feel like I got the price I wanted and researched prior to coming in. I have not seen quite as much enthusiasm as the staff at Universal, even if seemed fake at time I did appreciate the effort on their part. I’m glad that there are still good dealerships around that are helpful and friendly. more

Informed Consumers 6/30/2010

With so many consumer tools available--like Consumer Reports, Edmunds, Costco, AAA--it's amazing how dealerships still try old tricks. I'd visited several dealerships over the past month and while Universal Hyundai did have the make/model/color/configuration I wanted, each new step of the negotiating process made me feel that I'd been intentionally mislead in the previous step. The salesman and the finance guy would throw out some "inside" terminology, without explaining what it meant, and then put a paper in front of me, expecting me to sign. Don't salesmen know that people need and want CLARITY? Stop telling me you're "honest," and SHOW me you're honest. When a salesman has to repeat half a dozen times, "I'm honest," I tend to not believe him. Show me you're honest; don't just tell me. Bought my car at another dealership over an hour away, because they were clear and upfront. Never shoved a piece of paper in front of me, never used dealership-specific jargon, and let me do most of the talking. See ya! more

service and courtesy, rare find 5/31/2010

I’ve been thinking about getting a new car for myself for a while. I visited a Hyundai store closest to my house, but did not really like the people, the salesman were always staring at me, pressuring me without even saying a word five hundred feet away, so I decided to look for cars the modern way, via internet and I am glad I did. I found the best price for a Sonata Universal Hyundai although it is pretty far from home it was worth the trip! My wife and I were greeted by a very clean gentleman who only seemed interested in what I wanted. My wife enjoyed the test drive and I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted. This place gets a five star for the good experience and pleasant vibes from the people. I will be coming back in a few months when my wife’s lease expires. more

Went out of their way to help us. 5/1/2010

My spouse and I purchased a Sonata from Universal last week. This is a very popular model apperantly and is difficult to find in the exact configuration I was looking for. Universal went out of their way to help us locate the exact model with the options we were looking for, for the price we had negotiated as if the car was in their inventory. They took care of us and were very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend them to anyone. more

Easy Buying Process 3/21/2010

Tom was awesome to work with. I contacted several other dealerships and Tom was the best to work with. Didn't play games like the other salesmen and gave me everything I was looking for. I hate the whole car buying process and Tom made it enjoyable. more
