Unique Boutique

Back in June this year, I bought this very nice coral colored dress at the store. The manager was very nice to me and sold it for the price of $175... He told me that his dresses were made in Italy! The following weekend, I went to New York with a friend of mine and guess what! I saw the exact same dress - made in Italy, right - for $65. When I went back to the store to ask the manager, again where his dresses came from, he told me this time, that he had his own designer. I asked then how much he was selling the dress for and he said $90... (when I bought it a few weeks back for $175). When I showed him the picture of that other dress I saw in NY with the the $65 price tag, he gave me the name of the store and apparently new it very well. He gave me a bunch of crappy excuses and also, I need to say that the dress was very bad quality. After wearing it for 3 hours, I saw a hole in it. The manager is a CROOK! I will NEVER go back to that store and would not advise you to. more

I walked in to look around, and at first I was struck by the trendy dresses and unique looking shirts and leggings. Then I looked at the jewelry and noticed the poor quality of it for what I would consider Nordstrom prices. My friend called me over to the True Religion jeans rack and showed me how they were actually pretty bad knock offs. We did find a rack of leggings that looked awesome, but they were $99.00 on sale for $60.00. For whatever reason, my friend bought some jewelry. When we got back to the office, we looked up the brand of leggings (Nesso) and discovered that you can buy them in bulk for $5.00 a piece!! That's a 1,200% mark up. When her jewelry ultimately broke the next day, we went to take it back and discovered that THEY DO NOT TAKE RETURNS FOR ANY REASON. Only store exchanges and credits. If I want overpriced stuff, I'll head to Nordstrom from now on. more

this place confuses me. I would like to know where they get their stuff... it seems... and if someone knows... please tell me... but it seems like they get all their clothes from tj Maxx or Marshalls.... all the brands i see there, even the same shirts and suits... only they jack up the prices inordinate amounts. i've never actually seen anyone else in this store... i've never bought anything, i can't imagine anyone would.... the other thing that hints that they buy stuff from discount retailers... they only ever have one shirt of the same kind... i feel like if they were buying from the designer; they would at least buy the same shirt in a few different sizes; or the same suit, etc. what do you think? more

Unique Boutique has an array of beautiful suits and clothes for the modern business woman. Very stylish and high quality in my opinion. THe prices are moderate and the staff is very friendly and helpful as well. They also sell very cute accessories that go well with the clothes. This one could be on of your favorite stores in the district. more

Unique Boutique is right in the business district and so I naturally tend to go by there on my lunch breaks. They sell an assortment of colorful suits and accessories and always seem to be having a half-off sale. I'm not sure how good the quality is, but if you're just looking for some fun work clothes, this is a good place to go. And remember to take a look at the scarves and earings. more
