We can't thank you enough for the kindness and compassion you showed us during the loss of our Husky. He was so precious to us and losing him has been devastating, but your thoughtfulness has meant a lot to us. We have such a hole in our lives without him but know he isn't suffering anymore. Thank you for being a blessing to us.\r more

I have been going to Uniontown Vet Clinic with one pet or another since the late 70's. The staff there are so caring and they treat your pet as they would treat their own pet. Both of my dogs love going to see Dr. Baltic...she is THE BEST!!!\r more

The vet tech was very unprofessional the last 2 visits we had there. We will be looking for a new vet when I asked to have my 4 year old rescue dog titter tested she got very defensive told me it would cost more to titter than to vaccinate so why would I do it. I don't believe in over vaccinating my dogs do the research it can cause more harm to your pet. When I insisted on the titter test she had the nerve to say well you vaccinate your kids don't you! Dr Baltic was in the room at the time and never even corrected her mouth vet tech.\r Last time I was in the same vet tech hit on my son trying to set up her daughter with him, how unprofessional is that? I feel for her poor daughter, the lady even told my son her daughters work schedule trying to get him to go and meet her, as we were leaving that day she had the nerve to tell my son she would be seeing him at the dinner table! My son insisted he would never be going back to that vets office!\r When I found a better price on heartgard and ordered through Drs Foster and Smith the office lady called and wanted to price match, I chose to still order elsewhere, if it was a caring place they wouldn't be trying to make money off of the medicines in the first place saved over 60 ordering elsewhere even without the refund!\r If you want a professional staff and a comfortable vet experience please do yourself a favor and find another vet office. Dr Baltic didn't even examine my dogs teeth and still ran a heart worm test when I told them he just had one done in Jan even gave them the paper work from our GA vet to prove it. Hopefully I will get my dogs titter results that I paid for so I can take them to a new vet.\r Sincerely\r Melissa more

Worth the four hour drive! 8/9/2011

In July 2010, I had to move to Cincinnati in order to follow my career path. The hardest part, besides leaving friends and family, was knowing that I had to find an alternative vet for my miniature dachshund. Dr. Gainey and his staff gained my trust instantly. They welcomed a first time pet owner with open arms and provided tips, advice, and answers to my questions without making me feel foolish for asking. Everyone at Uniontown Vet is friendly, not just to animals, but to the parents of the furry babies as well. Therefore, after adopting another mini dachshund, I decided that Dr. Gainey and his staff's kind hearts and knowledge were worth the four hours of driving from Cincinnati for the vaccinations, check-ups, and other medical obligations as a puppy parent. I can honestly say I will never take my doxies to any other vet. Thank you for all that you do, UVC! more

Great care 8/6/2011

I have always been very happy with the care for our 2 dogs and 2 cats. The Doctors and staff have been very caring, and they have always recommended what was best for my furry family members. I even got a very nice sympathy card signed by every staff member when I had to put our beloved Charlie down last year. more

Excellent Veterinary Clinic 8/6/2011

Utown Resident is very sadly mistaken. Every one of my friends and family that own a pet take their pets to see Dr. Gainey and/or Dr. Baltic, and no one I know has ever had a bad word to say about any of the staff. Every visit I have had with the Dr.'s and Staff at the Uniontown Vet Clinic has been nothing short of enjoyable. My pets love going to the vet, no doubt due to the wonderful treatment they receive every time they are in the clinic. I have never seen the owners show anything but care and affection to not only my pets but even pets in the waiting area. I have never seen the slightest hint of abuse towards any pets. The staff is always polite and courteous to both myself and my pets and makes every effort to ensure that we are comfortable while waiting and well taken care of throughout the visit. As for nickel and diming, it has never happened. I have never received any unnecessary treatment and when something more was needed than what I was there for initially, the doctor explained their reasoning and I was able to find out prices and options before making any decisions. I will continue to take my pets and any future pets I may have to see the entire staff at the Uniontown Veterinary Clinic and I encourage everyone I know to do the same. more
