The UC Library is a great place to find books you don't normally find in the bookstore. However, they' are never instock of the books required for in-class reading. But they do have excellent academic programs for students. They have tutoring, summer reading, and even homework help programs. They also have arts and crafts activities weekly for kids. more

Great collection of books 8/17/2005

If you are into books, but do not want to own many, go to the Union City library. They have a good collection of books and the service is free for residents of the city. You can also browse the internet here for free. It is very peaceful at the library, so you could go ans tudy there too. I have checked out many other libraries, and I think Union City has a better collection of books than other libraries.... more

Great Variety of Books 8/13/2005

I think that the only bad thing about Union City Library is that it is a little small, especially compared to the fremont library. It has a lot of books for you to choose from and the librarians are very kind and willing to help you out if you're looking for something. The atmosphere is also very peaceful and quiet so you can study there with your friends or sit in couches and enjoy books. There are also many computers provided for you to use the internet. However, they do not have small study rooms. In the summer they have programs for kids to encourage them to read more by giving them prizes. I think it is great! more

Union City Library 8/12/2005

Union City Library is an EXCELLENT place to get your books. They have almost all the books you can name up and have programs like the summer reading programs where they give you a ticket to Great America if you read 50 hours of books. Union City Library encourage you to read and lets you borrow countless books but remember there is a 3 week return date when you borrow it. more
