Weekdays around 7 pm is a good time to go. Others may have a long wait going at a busy time (lunchtime). I'm a huge BBQ fan and this place doesn't disappoint. The meats are tender and the sides are great. I've had all the bbq meats: beef brisket, hot links, pork ribs, and chicken. My favorite is the chicken; it's tender and flavorful. Next are the ribs, like everything else, it's smoky, delicious and tender. And the brisket and hot links are pretty good but not fantastic. I've had the cajun corn, potato salad, cole slaw, and black eyed peas. Cajun corn is hands-down my all-time American side dish ever. It's creamed corn with a kick, and WOW, it's good stuff. I could eat a quart of it alone. Hearty and spicy, it's always the first thing to be wolfed down when I go with a group of friends. more

I have discovered a BBQ place to put all other BBQ places to shame. I thought the House of Soul had tasty BBQ but not only does Uncle Franks taste far superior with their secret smoked method but the portions are huge. Twice I ordered the two meat combo and I had enough to make three individual meals both times. You have to order the brisket because your plate will be full of meat. They have to give you your sides in individual dishes because there's literally no room on your plate. And the sides are excellent also; full of flavor. MMMM MMMM MMMM!
