Fast and Friendly Service 8/3/2012

Ultimate Tire is just the best! They are fast with your car, quick and diligent with giving you updates, and they are HONEST! As a single woman, living pretty far from my folks, I am always worried I will get taken advantage of at a car shop. Ultimate Tire always works within my budget as best they can to provide me with safe, but affordable, service. They are always friendly and fun to deal with as well, making you laugh on days when car trouble is giving you the blues :) Take your car to Ultimate Tire! more

nail in tire 7/7/2012

We have had great experiences here previously but this was above and beyond. I noticed that one of my tires this AM was a little low. I came in about an hour before close and they brought my car right back and were able to fix within the hour. $20. They're always super nice and very courteous. We come here for everything. more

Rip Off Warning & Follow-Up 2/16/2012

My check engine light came on during rush hour traffic. Naturally I wanted to get it to a mechanic ASAP. Unfortunately, I went to a mechanic that really stuck it to me. I told the guy at the counter to just make sure my car was ok to drive home. 2 Hrs later I was forced to pay $90 something for a gas cap. They did not advise me on any charges till they had already done the work. They scanned the computer, which is close to the exact same thing AutoZone will do for FREE! After I addressed the issue with the owner, he was rude and blamed me for bringing my car to him. He's correct! I never should have taken my car there, nor will I again. Follow Up: 2-3Hrs after posting my review the owner calls me with a 100% different attitude. He offered an olive branch. A free $45 car care/oil change. BUT during this ordeal he made it abundantly clear to me that his mechanics are commission, which was his reason for offering no concession on the gas cap ordeal. So...Do I really want a commissioned mechanic under the hood of my car? I think not. I want one that cares about my car and not want driven by sales. I want one driven to help me. more

Trustworthy and Knowledgeable 1/3/2012

You've found the right place to take your car! At the McGavock Street location Bobby, Robbie, and Jim take excellent care of me. The guys will always tell you honestly what is wrong with your car and how they are going to fix it. They do whatever they can to keep the cost down. They will shuttle you to work while you wait, or you can wait with them at the store. They'll keep you in stitches the whole time you're there. All my family members depend on Ultimate Tire & Car Care to keep our cars running safely. more

The people at Ultimate Tire & Car Care always provide the best service. I have heard them talk many customers out of repairs, and thereby costs, that were not necessary. A breath of fresh air in car service! They're the only place I'll take my cars for service. I always recommended them to friends and family without reservation! more

Always willing to help out immediately when in a crisis situation... 8/10/2011

On two occasions now I have called Ultimate Tire when I've been in a desperate situation while other services were unable or unwilling to schedule me for several days. They have always inspected my car immediately to insure my safety as well as my vehicle's while returning my car within the same day. Staff is friendly and prices are fair. They don't fix something unless it actually needs fixing and will let you know if you can hold off on fixing some things if money is tight. more

I've been using these guys forever. They are honest and professional. They can fix most everything but if they can't they will point you in the right direction. They are practical in their reccomendations. They never try to oversell you. more

Ultimate Tire & Car Care is the ONLY place that I take my car for service. They are very professional and do not take advantage of consumers with "up selling". They will make you aware of upcoming needs for your vehicle but never pressure you to make unnecessary repairs. They really care about their customers and are serious about keeping their clients happy. more

Never Take My Car Anywhere Else 7/21/2011

I've been taking my car to Bobby/Robbie for years, and they are the best of the best! They always remember me with a smile. They've never steered me (or my car) wrong. Not only do they fix/maintain my car, they are proactive in educating me on what to expect in the future. I have peace of mind driving an aging car that it's in tip-top shape. I don't know much about cars, so it's nice to have experts I can trust. They are honest, fair, trustworthy and just good people. more

Very capable and knowledgeable but give practical advice 6/23/2011

We like to keep cars forever which requires regular maintenance and attentiveness to symptoms indicating problems. They have helped to identify and fix some unique problems and keep us on the road. The best example is an old pickup truck we have that a dealer told us had a dead engine and had sales people lined up to sell us a new one. Ultimate identified and fixed a minor problem and the truck is still going strong years later. They check everything, but don't run up the outrageous bills you would get at a dealer. more

I was dealing with Exclusive Auto & Fleet Repair quite a while before they merged with Ultimate, so that's probably about 10 years. They've rarely made an error in working on my vehicles and I have total confidence in their integrity. They are always pleasant to deal with and have a sense of humor to boot. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

They are staffed by friendly people, who are incredibly knowledgeable about cars. They always greet you with a hello. They listen to your problem, and then do there utmost to make sure they resolve all the issues you are having with your car. more

Ultimate has excellent service. I've been working with these guys since they first opened the doors. I knew a couple of them when they worked for another group, so as soon as they opened up their own place, I was with them. I've never walked out of their dissatisfied or anything. If there was anything negative, I can't remember, because they've always been so positive. They're a first class organization. They follow up after their work, and they're always glad to see you when you come through the door. Rest assured, if you walk through the door as a first time user for Ultimate, you'll walk out very happy, and you'll be back more than once. George Betts more

I've been dealing with Ultimate Tire & Car Care for probably ten plus years. I have a family of four drivers and we use them basically for all four vehicles. We started out buying tires there because of a referral from a friend at work. The service that they provided, their customer service especially, is why we continue to use them and shop with them for all our needs. If I have an issue, I call them, and if they can't take care of it they tell me who can. I have referred them plenty of times, and I continue to refer them to people who want to deal with someone who will get it done. more
