Worst experience ever. I use UPS at work so I know the prices on shipping. I paid $40.00 on an item that would have cost approximately $15.00 at work. THEN was told by the cashier...

Disappointing 3/1/2012

Worst experience ever. I use UPS at work so I know the prices on shipping. I paid $40.00 on an item that would have cost approximately $15.00 at work. THEN was told by the cashier that the $25.00 profit the store had just made on me was not enough incentive for her to let me use some packing tape to retape the box. A shipping store should have shipping materials available. That is just common sense. Also, the cashier was unable to bill my work account for the shipping. These UPS stores must work like the Sprint stores that just sell Sprint phones. When you need help with Sprint, they call in on the customer line. I could have done that at home. These small businesses should call themselves Sort of Sprint or Almost UPS. Because they really are not affiliated with the larger companies in any helpful way. more

Owner is impolite and unprofessional. Grumpy even, as if we are putting her out to provide service. 5th Street location is much better...with lower prices too. Pros: Variety of services Cons: Poor customer service more

Don't use this UPS store! 4/6/2007

I used the UPS store to send a package to a friend living in the 3rd largest city in Russia. They took my money and my package. It was supposed to be a 3 day express delivery but ended up taking 47 days. When my package got to Mosscow all the sudden not only does UPS says that they cannot deliver to the address specified but it was also 1 day late to Mosscow. (it took 4 bussiness days). I have now been trying to get my refund for the extreemely late delivery for 11 months and still have not gotten it. The owner of the UPS store I used is Denise Gibbs. She is a horrible owner in my opinion. I had to contact them just to tell them my package was late. I have left upwards of 3 messages a week and have not gotten a reply from her ever. I have always been the one contacting them. Even when she says ""I will give you a call tomarrow to let you know whats happening"" She never calls. She has not called me even 1 time to let me know what is going on. Now when I call she is never in. I get a ""she doesn't work on friday and saturady"", or a ""She doesnt work on Sunday or Monday"". It changes everytime I call. Lately it has been ""She is at the hospital with her dying mother."" I understand that a person wants to be with their family when their is a eminate death. But it still should not take 11 months to resolve a simple problem and give me my refund. more
