U.M. Moving

My roomates and I had a terrible experience with this company. They charged us double from what they had origianlly estimated and lost a chest of drawers and 2 boxes of clothes. To our fault we did not read the fine print so when we asked them to reimburse us for some of the missing stuff they said we had signed off on a clause that allowed us 3 cents per pound of missing material which basically meant they would give us about $3 for all of our stuff! On top of loosing our clothes and furniture we actually recieved someone else's table. We asked if they wanted to come back and pick it up because we assumed that person would be looking for it, but they never responded...so if anyone out there is missing a black coffee table let me know!! Please do not use this moving company, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Pros: the movers were nice and tried to be efficient Cons: ever other aspect of this company more

Horrible experience even though I did my research before choosing them! They were four hours late without any notice or updates-I had to keep calling them to find out what was happening. At the end I was charged more than agreed and they caused thousands of dollars in damage (which they say was because they were ""rushed"" because they were late) and now refuse to pay for damages. No customer service at all! Pros: the movers themselves were nice and tried to be efficient Cons: hours late, did not keep us updated, misquoted prices, caused severe damage, refused to pay more

They were late, rude & rough. Started using extra packing materials w/o asking and charged me for it. I will never use them or recommend this mover to anyone. more
