I had been going to Two Stephen Street for a few years. At first I went to a stylist (forgot her name) who was not good. Went to get my hair angled and blended in because it was long in the back and I was growing out the sides. She never accommodated me, always saying she wasn't able to blend my hair because it was too long. I never understood that. After a few times I went elsewhere, to a place in NYC. (By the way, the stylist that I went to in the city WAS able to angle and blend my hair and didn't give me some lame excuse.....he just did it.) But going into the city got expensive and time consuming after awhile so I went back to Two Stephen Street to a different stylist. At first she was pretty good and friendly but I think after being a ""regular"" for some time, people get lazy and sloppy. At my last appointment, the shampoo girl almost yanked a patch of hair out of my head because my hair got caught in her RINGS. (Why wear rings if your hands are going to be in people's hair all day????) Then, my stylist truly butchered my hair. That's the only word to use. I have an easy haircut, and just went in for a trim not even a full haircut, and she cut off from the length when I told her not to and it ended up totally uneven. I was almost in tears. Maybe she was distracted with the conversation she was having with another stylist! When I got home, I tried to trim the side that was longer but gave up because I had to cut so much, I would have ended up making it even more uneven. So now, I have another appointment in a few days with someone else (NOT at Two Stephen Street!!) and I'm hoping she can even everything out and fix this hatchet job. Nobody should have to go home and try to fix the mess that someone does, especially if they've been a loyal customer. And although everyone has a bad day, this was the second time she cut my hair uneven so I gave her another shot. No more shots. Two Stephen Street is history. Beware if you go there!!!!\r
