One of my Pet Sitting clients is an epileptic Bichon, who doesn't always sit still for grooming. 2 Cks gives Sara a time-out when she is fussy and finishes her cut after many breaks, which is the least stressful way to handle Sara. They agreed with Sara's owners that it would not be in Sara's best interest to overmedicate her, as one groomer suggested, just to get her groomed properly. I've been trying different groomers in Cedar Park since December. I'd almost given up and was thinking about looking in Austin for a old shop that would specialize in standard poodles. I finally got an appointment with Two Chicks and it was worth the wait. My six month old baby never looked so good. The price was within range of the other shops and they did a much more superior job. They were loving and caring and made my pup feel at ease. Made appointment for my two dogs from advice of a friend who takes her dog here. I was a little apprehensive, as I've had these dogs since they were born and they have really become the biggest part of our family,next to our grandbaby. I have had my dogs groomed many times but when I found a groomer who we liked they moved on , I know I fell short with the last groomer but had the misconception that because she was connected with the Vet we take the dogs to that it should be a good experience for both the dogs and me as the customer, wrong..... I took my dogs to Two Chicks as stated above on a recommendation and when I was checking them in the femal dog started to have a seizure. I can't say enough of the two ladies that were working there once we realized what was happing they were on the floor with me talking the dog through the seizure. If someone had come in at that moment they would have thought the dog belonged to them as well as me. That act of kindness said more to me then any review that I had read before hand. They kept her, groomed her, took extremely good care of her and this was the happiest I had seen her after grooming since she was a pup. I applaud the staff and most certainly will bring them back. Upon our first visit, the staff wsa amazing and friendly to my Shih Tzu puppy. He was 3 months old and they showered him with affection and were very friendly to me. I wanted him fully shaved and they even called me to make sure this was what I wanted before they did it. Romeo was happy when I picked him up and did not seem to be frightened at all...even though this was his first time staying all day at a groomers. They even added a cute little Christmas bow to his collar to boot! Pros: Great Staff more

A friend recommended this groomer to me. The people were friendly, and my dog was able to get an appointment within a few days of my initial phone call. The day of the appointment, I dropped my dog off at 7am, and received a phone call at noon telling me they were all done, and she was ready to be picked up. When I picked her up, she was shaking. She has had numerous groomings with her regular groomer, and has never reacted this way. When I got her home, I found eleven different places where she was cut, razor burned, or bleeding. She is not a ""jumpy"" dog, and has never come home with cuts before. I also believe excess force may have been used to restrain her because she kept choking whenever she would bark, drink, or eat. This lasted for a few days following her appointment. My friend has never had problems taking her dog there, but I will not go back again. Pros: Friendly staff Cons: Poor grooming more
