It's okay. The selection is okay, the prices are pretty high, and the service quality is below what I expect for a small business/boutique. There aren't any good alternatives other than the big box stores so I'll go to Twinklestar if I can't buy it online. It's there. It's convenient. There's not a whole lot more I can say in it's favor. I wish there were better options for buying children's clothing. more

  • Located in the heart of Porter Square, Cambridge. Twinkle Star Boutique offers stylish clothing, shoes, and accessories for newborns, toddlers and kids up to size 7. Independently owned and operated since 2008, the owners bias toward fairly manufactured products.

    However, if it isn't cute and different, it will not find itself in Twinkle Star. Twinkle Star loves lively modern colors, whether from the United States or from Scandinavia. They also love older traditional styles such as smocked dresses for girls and rompers for boys.
    The owners are price conscious, so the offerings in the store vary widely and they will personally help find a gift for any budget. If you love a bargain, be sure not to miss their infamous "Back Room" for drastic mark downs.

    Twinkle Star also has a great selection of hand made items that become baby keepsakes for years to come.
