I order often from Tuscan Hills and also frequent the restaurant. The food is simply fresh, delicious and the pizza is always excellent. There is no bad choice. Especially love the white pizza, calamari, seafood pasta, I mean really the whole menu. Delivery is fast also. more

Soup was pretty nasty, chicken was bland, but bread was good. Guess it's best to stick to their pasta. more

I went to this restaurant with family for a Birthday dinner. This place was fine. I loved the dish I ordered which was the pasta with shirmp (forgot the name). Overall I would go back again! more

Don't waste your time and money 2/18/2012

The food has no flavor or lack of seasoningt. We tried multiple dishes and the complaint from my friends and I were the same, it just does not have any taste. They brought the food out cold with unreasonable delay. The pizza was horrible, the do not use FRESH mozzarella but serve "Margherita Pizza" with regular mozzarella. Their service was slow. We constantly had to ask for forks. The food is also over priced. You might as well have driven to Manhattan. Pros: null Cons: null more

Nice, but nothing special 3/23/2010

Nice local restaurant, but food was not special. Great fried calamari though. If you're not from the neighborhood, it's not worth a special trip. Pros: Small, but nice atmosphere, local Cons: small menu more

Talented chef! 3/4/2010

We particularly love the Gamberi Toscanaccia and the Crespele among the appetizers. All of the pastas are excellent, but best of all Roberto, the chef, always has a main dish fish "special" which is really truly special. We've had monkfish, dorado and branzino, all of which were beautifully prepared. The staff is friendly and efficient, and this restaurant has justifiably become a favorite among our group of friends. Pros: Everything on the menu at Tuscan Hills is delicious. Cons: The bread is an exception and is merely ordinary. more

Excellent food, very nice owners! 2/27/2010

We have eaten there several times and found the food and service to be excellent! Try the pizza! The other food is tops too! The owner is also the chef and that's always a plus :) Highly recommended! One more thing, the desserts are also amazing! Go, go, go! Pros: Food, service Cons: NONE! more

Great New Italian Restaurant in Forest Hills 2/21/2010

I have only been here once, but I had a great meal. The veal seasoned with sage and served with mashed potatoes was delicious. I also thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu. My girlfriend had the thick spaghetti with spicy sausage, which was also really good! The bruscheta pomodoro was full of great flavors, and the bread was nice and airy in the middle and had a nice crunchy crust! Pros: Great food and service Cons: None that I can think of more

Great new restaurant in Forest Hills 12/23/2009

Everything Roberto cooks is delicious! We've been there about 4 times and look forward to returning for another great meal. They got their liquor license (finally); they serve wine & beer. It's a great dining experience. Pros: signature dish Cacciuco alla livornese Cons: none to date more

one of my favorite new places 12/20/2009

Wonderful new restaurant to kick back and enjoy a great meal at a reasonable price. Marco and Roberto have created a great atmosphere and the food, squisito! more
