Amazing salads and pasta more

I have been going to Tullio's for years and they are simply amazing! The warmth of the staff makes you feel like family and the atmosphere is very cozy, perfect for a romantic dinner for two. When I last went with my husband I ordered the angel hair pasta (which is my favorite of theirs). I don't know for sure but my guess would have to be that they make their pasta fresh because no where else have I had such a delicious dish, and I am known for my pickiness. Whenever I'm in the area I can't help but stop by, and once you go there you'll see why. Pros: Ample parking in back, Great atmosphere, Amazing service Cons: None! more

I went to Tullio's last weekend for the first time. We were with a large group celebrating a birthday party. I hate dining with large groups, HOWEVER, Tullio's had such a great atmosphere, menu and service it really made the whole dining experience enjoyable. The prices were afordable for EVERYONE, which is part of the reason why dining with large groups can be really annoying. There wine selection was affordable and they had a great selection. Everyone was really happy with what they ordered. They brough a complementary desert platter out for the table as well as when we were waiting for our table the host brought us all drinks on the house because our table was getting set up. Hi, I am writing this review for Tullio's in Walnut Creek. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the east bay. It has a great selection of traditional italian food. I love pasta, especially raviolis, and the ravioli pesto at tullio's is my favorite. I also enjoy the traditional spaghetti with meatballs....its just perfect. This restaurant stands out specifically because there really isn't another restaurant that does what they do as far as consistency and quality. Its just great everytime. I would recommend making reservations for groups on weekends as we have had to wait in the past. Also, I would also recommend keeping in mind the portions are huge. I sometimes go with the half orders. I hope this reveiw is helpful and I really do recommend you trying Tullio's. if you are looking for the best italian food in the east bay, I would go to tullio's. the food is wonderful and the portions are bigger than what your used to. the restaurant is owned by by a italian family that clearly takes pride in taking care of the people who come in and join them. they have great salads, fresh bread, giant well made sandwiches and all kinds of great dinner plates. but if none of that matters to you, they also have arguably the best pizza in walnut creek, an assortment of beers on tap, and many great wines. of course like any great place your going to have to wait a few minutes during peak hours, but everytime i come here with my friends and family we all have a great time, drink great wine, and have a great time. easy to get to off the freeway too. This place is fantastic. Food is amazing, service is amazing, portions are extremely generous. Best value in Walnut Creek. In a city that has really been taken over by corperate restaurants its nice to see a family run business making the chain restaurants look like fast food.
