I was dropping off my daughters friend and I accidentally was off the pavement onto what should be grass and Jeff was freaking out on me. I even got out of my car with him standing there to make sure I didn’t do any damage. He told me waving his hands to stay on the pavement. He’s extremely nasty. I would never ever rent from Tudor Gardens. more

If you have a problem with the apartment because they are 40 plus years old the manager wants to blame you. There is a tenant who steals your laundry out of laundry room. People who don't live there come with no fear and dump all kinds of trash and junk in on and near the dumpsters. Loud neighbors are not uncommon. And they rent to the biggest drug dealers in the cities history. more

We live in a one bedroom apt in Tudor Gardens for a few years. The manager was hardly ever there. The only way to reach the manager was through an answering machine and the maintenance man wouldn't do anything unless told to by the manger. The apartments are old and you can easily hear your neighbors conversations.I would not recommended these apartments for single women or for the elderly. If you do decide to rent and are a woman make sure you are married and have your husband or boyfriend deal with the manager Jeff Emerson under no circumstances be alone with this person more

decent rental apartments 5/19/2006

My husband and I rented a one bedroom apartment in the Tudor Gardens buildings for about 2 1/2 years before we returned to Pa. My husband was being transferred, and the time that we had to relocate was short. I was surprised by the huge price difference in price when we moved to the area from Maryland, and was shocked at how much more rents were on the Pa side of the border as opposed to the New York side, so we opted to look in to living on the New York side of the border. The apartments were clean, and well priced. At the time we were paying $550 per month for a one bedroom, with a bathroom, small kitchen, living room, and dining room -- which was very reasonable and a lot less than we would have paid just a mile across the border. There is a laundry room with numerous, well-functioning (and decently priced for use) washing machines and dryers. The rental office is also right there next to the laundry room, and the superintendant has regular hours to hear concerns. It is also where the rent drop off box is located for conveniently dropping your rent off at your leisure (before the due date of course). The grounds are kept up well, and the maintenance staff is prompt to address any concerns that you have. There are first and second floor units offering efficiency, one bedroom, and two bedrooms. Some of the buildings offer small balconies. There is ample parking, and a small play area for children. more
