We were seated quickly and given our drinks timely so I thought we were off to a good start but that timely service quickly turned in to what felt like, how quickly can we serve these people and get them out of here rather than the relaxed family birthday dinner we were looking for. The salads were decent but had too much dressing for half of our party. Three of us ordered the special, one well done, one medium rare, one medium and two ordered the serlion both cooked medium. None of the steaks were cooked as they were ordered, only one of the 5 plates was served to the correct person, the vegetables were so over seasoned you could barely tell the asparagas from green beans. The food portions are fine but the plates are so unusually small you could really do with asking for another plate so you can cut your meat without flinging potatos around. The bus girl was oddly obessed with refilling the lemonades but no one else paid attention to those of us with milk, wine or beer. We were shorted a dinner salad, paid for it because it's included in the dinner price and never did get it.The waitress never once asked us if everything was ok or if she could get us anything else except when it came to dessert. So I asked the birthday person in our group if he would like birthday cake. He declined but sheesh, she could have at least wished my guest happy birthday. With all the great steak options St. Louis has to offer, there is no sense in bothering with this one. A regrettable choice. I won't be back.
Pros: Is free refills on lemondae really a pro at a steak resturant?
Cons: Everything else
