Good Ophthalmologist 3/2/2010

I have been going to Dr. Tucker for several years, and he does a good job. If anything, he may be a little too careful. He has sent both my wife and me to a specialist for somewhat unusual situations, and both times the specialist has taken one look and dismissed it. Overall, I have no complaints. more

Tucker Robert P III MD is very thorough 7/5/2009

I have been going to Dr Tucker and Salmenson for many years. I have very bad vision and retinal degeneration and have to see Dr Tucker every 6 months. I feel like I get lots of time with both doctors and never feel rushed. Dr Tucker is so very thorough, I know that I am getting a good exam and that he will not miss anything.\r \r My recommendation is to not use their in-house optical center, though, for purchasing contacts/glasses. I have found them to be very over-priced, even with good insurance. more

Good Doctor and surgeon 6/5/2006

Dr Tucker has been seeingmy grandmother fora few yearsnow. He is very knowledgable and takes a lot of time with his patients. \r He talks to older people with respect and explains things clearly. His nursing staff called my grandmother many times before her cataract surgery last month. They aswered all her question and tried to make the pre-op and surgery as easy for her as possible. \r I could not be at the post surgical follow up so the nurse called me and told me what happened. After her surgery Dr Tucker met with us and explained what went on in detail. He made sure we had a good understanding of post-op instructions. PROS: professional and caring office CONS: very busy, sometimes a long wait at appointments more

    Dr. Robert Tucker, ophthalmologist, has been in private practice for 23 years and works in both of our offices.  Dr. Herman Salmenson, optometrist, has been working alongside Dr. Tucker for more than 10 years and works at our Johns Creek practice.
