Angel is great! 10/12/2011

Angel is great. He warmly greeted me when he saw me. He took special care to make sure my feet were raised when he washed my hair. He went the extra step in making sure the water temperature was perfect and gave me a wonderful scalp massage with what he knows is my favorite shampoo based on its scent. He remembered stuff about what we'd discussed months ago, which shows me that he does pay attention to his customers. When I leave the salon I look great, and my hair continues to look great with very little effort on my part for more than six weeks. I always tip him over 25% because he's worth every penny. more

A great experience. 10/11/2011

I came to Tu Moda for a mani/pedi session in preparation for my daughter's wedding. I had only had one once before so I was a little apprehensive. My nail tech Shannon made me feel comfortable right from the start. She was very welcoming and friendly, as were all other staff I came in contact with. I was very well taken care of. I will definitely return, hopefully to try out your other services as well! more

Tu Moda Experience 10/8/2011

I have been going to Tu Moda for well over ten years. I travel a lot for business and can't always take appointments with the same stylist. In my experience, with Jess, Kasia, Elisha and Amy and seeing the work of the other stylists in the salon, I am comfortable taking an appointment with any one of the stylists at Tu Moda. What I most appreciate, compared to other salons I have visited, is that the conversation is always professional, never gossip. I have on occasion treated myself to the spa services, where the environment is beautiful and completely conducive to relaxation. more

Best haircut in 4 years, well worth price 10/5/2011

Since my hairdresser of 18 years retired, I've been hopelessly searching for someone to give me a soft, feminine, PRETTY, cut that's full of volume and easy to style. Cut after expensive cut I've spent 8 weeks letting it grow out and trying someone else. Until GLORIA! I got a spur of the moment appointment (for the day I called), and for the price I was skeptical...too low for quality for sure. But, boy, was I wrong. She was friendly, attentive to what I wanted, and highly skilled at giving me EXACTLY what I asked for. PERFECT cut. And, my search is over. I've already booked my next appointment. First time in 4 years I've booked another appointment before leaving the salon. She has REAL talent and is a pleasure to talk with, too. I so happy to have a hairdresser I consider "mine," again, and I am thrilled that she's nowhere near retirement age! more
