Love it, there is plenty of parking, it's Beautiful inside, the girls are all very nice! My husband got my a package deal, and the massage by Tamara was so Relaxing, and my Facial with Tiffany was also very Relaxing!! My nails and toes look so cute! Thank you Sandra!! I also got a style with Stacy and she is so sweet, and made me look Beautiful!! My experience was Great!! I will be back again SOON!! Thank you Girls! it was all well needed! :) more

I moved to Elk Grove, about 3 months ago now. I was so worried that I wouldnt find another Hair Dresser that would listion to me and give me exactly what i wanted. I feel so lucky to have found her at True Salon and Spa in Old Town Elk Grove! She's GREAT her name is Louise, and she takes the time to ask me what i want and do not want, so we are always on the same page! My cut and color turned out Perfect!!! :) more

I have been getting my hair colored for 20 plus years and she was by far the most exceptional color specialist I have ever had! more

I had a wonderful experience at True Salon last weekend. Not only are the hair stylist professional and highly expereienced but so is the rest of the staff. The girls at the front were extremely helpful and welcoming. True salon offers a varity of dfferent spa treatments. I had a facial and massage. They were both EXCELLENT! I received a massage last week from the massage therapist at True Salon and it was the most amazing and relaxing massage expereince I have ever had. I have been getting massages for years and nothing comes close to Tamaras technique and rythm. I highly reccomend you call to book your hour of luxury asap!! Thak you Tamara , you rock! more

I am the type of person who like to get it done in one trip. True salon and spa understands that, they have everything in one stop. I was able to get my hair colored and cut, exactly how i wanted. Then, not only was I able to get my eyebrows arched, but I was able to get a pedicure and manicure too. When leaving, I grabbed a service menu and realized they have EVERYTHING!!!, facials, body waxxing, massages, make-up, extentions...they have it all. This will definently be my one stop beauty shop. more

It is great to be able to go to a salon where the specialists listen to what you want and provide you with expert color. I need to cover gray around the temple and have highlights and lowlights. I am so pleased when I leave with a natural look. I highly recommend True Salon & Spa, located in historic Elk Grove. more

I am new to the Elk Grove area, upon my move, a major obsical was finding a salon to regurly go to. I think I found it! When I fist walked in I was greeted and offered a beverage and then within seconds the hairstylist was ready for me. She colored, cut, and styled my hair just as I had described. Then I realized that not only do they do hair there, but they do nails, waxxing, facials, and messages. When my hair was done the esthetician had an opening so next I got my brows waxxed, needless to say she too did an amazing job. So I think that moving to Elk Grove will be a little easier now that I have found my salon and spa of choice. more

So, I would have to say that I am rather picky when it comes to my brows, I like them just right. Many times I have had them way to thin and I looked surprised, but the esthetician there made sure I got exactly what I wanted and ensured I was satified with my brows before leaving. I am definantly going back, I love my eyebrows! more

I wanted to share my experience with other readers of CitySearch! I just had a pedicure with Sandra from True Salon in Elk Grove and not only was it the cleanest pedicure ( indivdual liner for ever client) but it was also the most relaxing I have ever had. She gave me an excellent foot massage as part of my pedicure! I highly encourage her for all you ladies out their who have been searching for a clean, relaxing and beautiful pedicure!!! I was excited to see this new salon in town so went in for a hair cut and color. BIG MISTAKE! The owner there an older lady who I assume to be Sharon since the girls at All About You said she opened this new one, is ridiculous. She seems very tired and stressed out and takes that attitude out on her clients. If only I had known it was her who opened the salon, I would not have set foot in there. She is very rude and doesn't make you feel pampered at all. It is okay inside but the two young girls that were there while I was checking out were sitting there chit chatting and gossiping the whole time. TIme to be professional! I really hope that all these good reviews do not trick people and the only reason why there are so many reviews is because they hand you these cards telling you to review them so here it is! I find it a little odd that they have 24 reviews already and they are brand new when not even one other business has even 1/4 of that many. It seems to me they are trying to oversell themselves and writing most of these themselves. Don't be fooled, there are plenty of other nice salons in Elk Grove with friendly and qualified staff! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! more

I have been going to Sharon since I was in high school (the 80's!). I currently live in Modesto, but when I come to town I make my hair appts with her. Her new salon is lovely and located in Old Town. Sharon as always does a great job! more

I walked in to True on Saturday and they fit me in no problem! Not only were they able to accomidate my walk in but they greeted me with refreshments, had fun, music, and the my stylist Christy really knew what she was doing. I have never felt to comfortable letting someone work with my hair! I would definatley reccomend this salon to any of my friends! Pros: fun and welcoming atmosphere more

(Sharon you are AAAAAA-mazing) This place is great. i have cousins that live in the bay area and they always complain about how expensive it is to get a cut and color. i told them that for the same exact service, you would pay less and get better service and fabulous results. Only sharon is allowed to touch my hair. it took me years to find the perfect hair stylist and i finally found her. sharon love and keep up the good work. I have ur number on speed dial. True Salon and Spa's service is second to none. They are very professional and you couldn't find a more pleasing location and atmosphere with nice background music. I only let Sharon do my hair, She knows just what to do with my curly hair! My sister goes to Whitney and loves her! The colors of the place are soothing. Its nice to get away for a while. Its not far from home, in old town Elk Grove, one of the up swings is there is plenty of parking and its not hard to find. Sharon and her staff are always friendly and listen to what you want. If you are uncertain they have all kinds of ideas to help. I love the color Sharon has come up for my hair. I am never disappointed! Pros: Soothing place, Friendly, Perfect hair everytime I go! Cons: None, I love the new place. more
