We had Rolox (now under a new name because their BBB rating is so bad probably ) install Vinyl Siding on our home about 8ish years ago. The entire experience was a NIGHTMARE that we spent a fortune on and had to fight with them to do it properly or at least decently the entire time. Half the crew had never even done siding before and couldn't speak a word of English. They even smashed my shrubs caused electrical issues, and left my yard littered with nails it took us years to clean up by the time we found them all. Now.. thanks to Rolox, our 25 year roof, only 10 years old.. is leaking like a siv because they nailed boards to the roof to hold the siding up on the roof while they worked because they were too lazy to go up and down the ladder. They filled the nail holes in my (at that time BRAND NEW roof) with some kind of crap that is not meant for that purpose, now I find out I have DOZENS of holes in my roof from them. DOZENS! Do you think they will pay for my roof?? HA! more

I bought several windows with a life time warranty from Rolox Home Center nearly 19 years ago. Nine years ago we noticed condensation began to show on a pair of windows on the North side of the home. We called several times to Rolox about the problem and they said they would send someone out to look at the problem. No one showed. We called again and again and again! No one showed! We finally gave up. We have paid off our home and plan to do some updating. Rolox is NOT figured in those plans. We've been suckered once by these scam artists. It won't happen again! It's not worth the hassle dealing with people who won't keep their word! more

I had a shower put in my home in 2006 it took 2 years for the company to get it right. After that I still had to call and have them come out to fix the caulking, because it had to be a special type and they would not leave me any. To this day it is not in proper working order. I just found a leak in the basement coming frim the shower. I paid $4000.00 for this. I also bought the windows. I could kick myself in the head! Take my advise, shop around! more

Impressive professionals 9/1/2009

We had windows installed this week. A four man crew arrived a little after 8 a.m. They were clean. They wore Rolox t-shirts. They were polite and conversant. They did not play loud music or make a neighborhood disturbance. They all had been with the company between 8 and 12 years. Each member of the crew went about his business as part of a team. They removed and reinstalled curtains and blinds as necessary. They cleaned up after themselves. All 21 windows were removed and replaced and each one looks as good as the next inside and out. They were finished and gone by 1:30 p.m. It was amazing. Pros: Professional installation Cons: Price more

Beware 8/30/2009

We had a new bathroom tub/walls installed. From the beginnng it looked good but underneath little did we know that a leak from the shower head connection pipe was not done properly until several years later....yes several years! We were smelling mold also and could never pinpoint what was going on. Then walls started bowing out several years down the road. We called a plumber for another bath issue and they started tearing out the wall adjoining this bath that we discovered that! The plumber said it had most likely been doing that from the time it was first installed. There had been some putty hastily put on the shower connection and it was obvious it was not installed properly. Now there is nothing we can do except warn other potential customers to BEWARE for you know not what may be actually taking place behind the walls that you cannot see! Cons: suckered... more

POOR JOB & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 8/22/2009

I had them install siding. But I found out many area they did not complete and some siding came off. I even have a leak between siding and roof since. they did. I left message so many times but i never get hold of the person takes care of repairs. It did not worth $9600 for the damage I got. Very unsatisfied customer 6/2/2008

We have had nothing but problems with this company since the salesman come to our door soliciting their business. My boyfriend was convinced to sign papers and mislead by the process of canceling the order thereafter. Once he called and wrote to cancel the order the company denied receiving such notification from us saying he was responsible for the order and that they would put a lean on the property and not even install the order if he refused to continue the order. After lengthy conversations with many different parties at the company he decided to go forward with the order, no other options available from the company. They were all very rude with him. It then took them longer than agreed upon to provide installation. Finally, when arrangements were made to do installation and my boyfried took the day off from work to be there they called and said they wouldln't have time for his installation and would need to reschedule. This company is so un-professional that I would NEVER recommend their business not even to people I dislike. more

Love them Windows 3/22/2008

I just had Rolox install 3 basement windows in my home last month. Now my baesment is the hottest part of my house, I was so surprised on how much cold they keep out and didnt let the heat out. The salesman Jimmy was very nice and gave my wife and I so much information about windows and didnt pressure into buying a whole house full of windows, he suggested that we start with the worst windows first. I just thought a window was a window. If anyone wants quality windows go to Rolox. I cant wait until I start replacing the rest of my windows. Pros: Very friendly saleman and installers, great product A +++++ Cons: expensive, but I got the quality and it was worth it. more

bad installation 3/21/2007

the windows are very nice and easy to use but the installation people were unprofessional at best. They tracked mud throughout my house and ruined a throw rug at my front door. They also knocked a hole in the wall and reused the interior trim that they had to splice together in several places to finish the inside window stop. more

Best triple paned replacement windows and installation experience 10/8/2006

I was apprehensive about who to hire to do replacement windows in my 50 year old home. My neighbor has been happy with the Rolox windows she installed in the late 1980s and I grew up seeing Rolox commercials on TV so knew the company had been around a long while. I LOVE MY ROLOX WINDOWS! Had a bay window installed in livingroom facing front yard, a large sliding window installed to replace double dining room windows that overlooks back yard. Both these windows opened up my house to awesome outdoor views. The bay makes my livingroom feel so much larger and it's gorgeous with high quality maple wood and interior trim work. Another room had 2 small, odd-sized windows they suggested I replace with windows that crank out from the bottom. The new windows have increased the value of my home and now keep the heat and cold out. Can't wait to see how much I save on utility bills. Go with Rolox for window replacement. They were hard-working people and answered all my questions through the process. My windows were installed August, 2006. I LOVE MY ROLOX WINDOWS! You can't beat the triple-panes (forget double paned windows)!! Pros: quick installation, hard working employees, high quality triple paned windows more

I would NEVER recommend to anyone!!! 7/6/2006

I have been having the most unpleasant experience with Rolox since day 1. Day one was in January...it is now July and my bathroom is still not complete and they are refusing to fix it. In my humble opinion have been nothing but arrogant, given me nothing but trouble, talked down to me and disrespected my husband. Keep in mind...this was only my experience...take it for what it is worth. I have, however, talked to several others who feel the same way. Pros: My bathroom isn't all pink anymore Cons: EVERYTHING else more
