If this is the same Trudel family that built my house six years ago, they have not changed. The father built my home and we have a lot of problems. We ended up living in a hotel for three months because they did not finish on time. The electric still does not work properly and I have wallboard screws coming out of the walls all over the place. I have doors that are broken and window screens that have fallen out and cannot fit back in. They would not have anything to do with me and constantly told my husband that I was bothering the workers. We were very detailed in what we wanted and wrote out the list. He was very unorganized and his son always ran away when I needed to talk to him. We ended up spending an additional $8000 to finally get grass. We still have problems with our driveway. We bought our first home from Matt Trudel of Hudson, NH in October 2007. It was to be our dream home. Many promises to finish the house have been made and a few of the items were completed, others are not completed. For example, after several phone calls, promises and delays the central air conditioning was finished but not before my wife and daughter spent four days living in the basement because of 95 degree weather. Our backyard is sand and weeds though for two years the landscaping has been promised. The bath tub in the master bathroom cannot be used because the tile work was never completed. Imagine not being able to use the bath tub in your master bathroom after two years! Matt owes us a considerable sum of money. Matt Trudel makes promises and I have been patient and understanding but he has no credibility left with me. Matt Trudell was the selling agent of the home my wife and I bought last year around our wedding and assumed responsibility of completing the house for our purchase. Many promises were made for finishing the house for closing as well as repairing items under the 1 year new home warranty. It has now been 12 months since we bought the house and many items that were supposed to have been completed around closing still have not been addressed. No one has come by or contacted us over the past 7 months though we have tried numerous times to get ahold of him. He does not return calls or emails. Now we must get our lawyer involved. Do not deal with him if you have a choice. If you must deal with him then ensure everything is completed before closing or walk away. Otherwise once he has your money you will not hear from him again. Do a search, I am not the only one having this problem with them.
