My lawn looks worse than it has ever before. \r It started out with them coming out to aerated and overseed. Then they treated the lawn for moss which I had to rake out. When I raked the moss, of course, the seeds got raked up too. They had to overseed again and tried to charge me for the extra service. After I pointed out their stupidity in scheduling the treatments in the reverse order they agreed to not charge me.\r I still have weeds and more bare spots than before they started treating the lawn. They call before 7 am to tell me what time they will be out, but yesterday he didn't even show. I have told them several times NOT to call before 8 am. The last guy who was here said ""they are just small weeds"". What? I am expected to dig them up myself? He said that would be they way to take care of them. Regarding the bare spots his comment was ""it'll grow back, if not I'll throw some seed on it"" How about throwing some seed on it now? Why do I pay this company? The supervisor showed up at a time I told him I would be busy with clients so of course, I did not have time to address my issues with him and he did not call me later to discuss it like he said he would. I finally got through to the office instead of the call center today and they are supposed to come out Friday and address all my issues and make the lawn look better. We'll see since growing season is now pretty much over in this area. I have told them that I will not be renewing the contract for next year and all they do is try to upsell me more services. \r This same thing happens every time I call and complain about the lousy service. They give me excuses and tell me that a supervisor will call or come out and discuss it with me. They either don't call, or call when I am busy with clients. Apparently yesterday the technician was told not to go out to my property, they had to address a few issues first. Really? Perhaps he should have asked me when he got here.\r I will not be renewing my contract with them, I will insist that they come out and treat the lawn as often as necessary to repair the damage they did, at their expense.\r more

We unfortuanately didn't read all the bad reviews about the horrible service from the Lake Oswego TruGreen Chemlawn has. We decided to use them, and after several months of getting half or sometimes less than half of our lawn serviced, we went another route and got a local landscaper. For less than half the cost of ChemLawn, we now get our lawn fertilied, edged, and mowed, and the lawn looks 100 times better than Chemlawn ever dreamed.\r \r Besides, who wants TruGreen chemicals around their pets, kids, or even around us? Shame on you, Chemlawn! more

My husband and I moved into a new home and the yard was terrible... a representative came by selling their services and we told him we'd think about it. I checked around and they seemed to be the best deal and the manager - Chris P - was really knowledgeable about the lawn and problems we had. The cost was under $30 for the first application and close to for the remainder and he also gave me a killer deal on my trees and shrubs! We've never had any harassing calls or anything... he will randomly call to check and see how the lawn is looking - but that's great customer service to us... Our lawn looks amazing - no more crane fly or clover :) It took a little bit but as with any lawn care, you get what you put in! Totally worth it...wouldn't use ANYONE else! more

called for monthly lawn services they advertised for $29/month first month and $49 thereafter which you may think that you can terminate service at any time if 1st service result is not of your satifisfication. However they did not tell that once enrolled that ads program and the 1st 29$ service is done, it automatically trigger the full service enrollment including extra service (like aeration or seeding) charged for big $. They did not send out paper agreement and the schedule of all services as promised so that you won't know it. and then they came in doing those costy extra service without notice on the next day right after doing the 1st 29$ service and simply left a big bill. then they claim full service was activated but you did not call to cancell so you have to pay. More horrible is that after service, lawn get worse ... more

Purchased lawn care package. Lawn looked worse at the end of term. Nonstop calls to my home after I had clearly and unequivocally cancelled their "services." I wouldn't recommend this sleazy bunch of hooligans to my worst enemies. more
