Best kept secret in Charlotte 11/11/2011

My wife and I like Trio so much that we booked our 50th Anniversary Luncheon there and over the past 15 or 20 years have booked numerous group luncheons and dinners and have never been dissapppointed.\r Service is second to none and the food is always excellent. My wife is a gourmet cook, so eating out has to be above just good for me and I know that I can count on Trio and Gary to provide a good meal. more

Wonderful Food, Excellent Environment 9/25/2010

I went here with my husband to celebrate my raise at work. We wanted something simple and fun. Well we were very impressed. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Our waitress was so kind and very attentive. My husband got the steak and I got the lobster ravioli. We also had salads, they have the most amazing dressings to choose from!!! then we both got dessert, I got the creme brulee (MY FAVORITE) and he got the Apple fritters. I would def rec a visit to this restaraunt. It was a wonderful evening! more

Below Mediocre 1/29/2009

The only complaint I have about this restaurant is the food. I ordered the cheese tortellini and my husband ordered the filet; the only steak on the menu. My tortellini was mediocre at best until I found a piece of what looked like plastic wrap in it. My husband's steak was cooked medium as asked but without any seasoning. No salt no...anything. He gave his fork back when he was finished with his salad, when he asked for a replacement he was given a fork with blue icing on it. Both complaints were taken care of; his fork was replaced and my dish was taken off of our bill. The service was good, the prices were reasonable but the food was horrible. Definitely not worth paying for; I could have made better food at home. Pros: Prices Cons: Food is not very good. more

love it for many reasons 12/27/2008

great quiche and salads,open airy atmosphere, great service, always nice to our kids. Can dress casual or dress up and still feel comfortable. To the person who did not like the food, try it again, maybe they were just off that day.You are really missing out if you do not try Trios. Pros: good parking and wonderful service an atmosphere Cons: too far from our house !!!! more

Great eclectic food 6/17/2008

We have gone many times and never been disappointed. We especially love the brick oven trio appetiser. Both fish and beef dishes are fantastic. The atmosphere is also very casual but elegant. more

Just tried Trio out for the first time. It's terrible. The food is bland, improperly prepared, and low quality. I couldn't even finish my meal. Pros: Nice looking restaurant Cons: Terrible food! more

Trio is great! They have great service, good food, and a comfy atmosphere. Our food was served quickly, but we didn't feel rushed. Their brick-oven pizzas have a lot of funky combinations like shrimp and crabmeat. Their ice cream and desserts are made in house, and their prices aren't bed either!! Pros: Service, Atmosphere, Prices more
