Just got a cut and now im here to vote 11/14/2009

I got a cut by Summer and that was cool. She just trimmed it but she was nice and laughed at my jokes which counts for a lot. I was talked into waxing my eyebrows which was a trip. Not sure ill try that again but my girlfriends bikini line is the bomb.cahm. I suppose i needed it but it was a touch painful. We had a nice time so we VOTE for them any time. Pros: Web while you wait. Cons: Waxing hurts. more

Good Cut for $20 11/14/2009

Red Heads have more fun! 11/14/2009

I just went red. Um....LOVE IT. My bf loves it even more. After reading these reviews i made the drive out to Trim from Hermosa since i dont really have a hair person bc my last one moved. Any way, it seems Nik has a bunch of color related comments so i requested the boss. She is soo cool. Was a bit late but apologized and got to it. We looked at pics and she suggested to go a little lighter than the one i was favoring bc of my skin tone and the fact that i dont wear a lot of make up. Turned out great and i got a first time $20 cut too, which she dried for FREE. I guess sometimes they charge extra for the blow dry. Oh yeah and i was offered a drink and opted for Tecate, which was cold and delish. Thanks Nik. Pros: Great colorist. Cons: The beer was too cold. more

I love stopping by Trim, its more than just a haircut, it literally puts me in a better mood. Everyone is so friendly, you get wine or beer, you are right at home, and you never leave looking bad. Plus they always have awesome events going on or specials, I actually go in for a haircut more than I need to, or even just stop in to say hi. I love them! Pros: hot girls, good haircut more

I literally have had everything done here; quick trim, brunette to blonde, blonde to brunette, extensions, waxing, eyebrow, styling for parties....literally the best place ever! I always feel welcome, one of the owner Nik is the queen of Venice, and all the people working there are great, I feel like family everytime I come in, I have had work done by Silvia, Drea, Summer, Antonio, Terry, all of them fantastic. Saved my life 11/10/2009

First off they offer you beer or wine or coffee when you first arrive. Now i'm an athlete in training so i had to pass, but what a great way to start off your salon experience. Id also like to say that Jason saved my life. My usual barber was out of town and i needed a trim before i took my headshots the next day. It was crunch time, there was no room for error. Luckily Jason is a master barber and completely topped my expectations. He was better than my usual guy and a great guy as well. I will definitely be in making a trip back to trim salon. dont listen to that ONLY one negative review. lindsay divirgilio has been doing my hair for 6 yrs and she is the best. the first time i went in i was so nervous, i had long hair and wanted to go short. but we talked for a bit and she recommended a little bit longer and i just remember being so so happy i've kept that style for a few yrs. and if i want to change my hair at all, she makes sure that's what i really want and doesnt just start cutting. i have referred all my friends. and they thank me all the time that i sent them to her. she also does the BEST highlites. i would definitely recommend her. Worst, haircut. ever. 11/9/2009

There might be someone good there, but DONT use Lindsay Divirgillo. She did not listen to me at all when I explained I liked my cut, especially the asymmetrical shape, just needed a trim. She hacked off the shape, and created the most pedestrian, totally wrong for my face (I have a square face and she cut it right at my chin line so my head looks like a box now) lopsided mess. I am waiting for it to grow out, which seems like an eternity--save yourself, the cool atmosphere and tattoos don't add up to a good cut Cons: no talent, does not listen to client more

Ive heard a lot about this salon and i was hesitant at first since i had not let anyone cut my hair besides my own hair stylist, so when my friend recommended me she insisted Robin style my hair. My hair is really difficult since it is long and natural curly, robin really knocked one out of the ball park and i love what she did to my hair thanks so MUCH!!! more

I recently decided to try a new salon because my old stylist moved. I, of course, was hesitant to try a new place. My friend recommended that I go to Kelly Peach at Trim salon. I needed a cut and color. I told Kelly what I wanted and she did exactly what I asked for. She was very friendly and did an amazing job on my hair. I went to a dinner party after wards and I received several compliments on my hair. I highly recommend Kelly at Trim. I will definitely be returning to her for my next appointment. I've been getting my hair done by Brooke Tittinger at Trim for 2 years now. My husband and I both love her. AMAZING Color and cuts. Expect the best 11/5/2009

I have gone to several different salons in the 8 years I have lived in LA, typically based on proximity to where I was living at the time. Then a friend recommended me to Trim and once I set foot in the place, I knew I wasn't going to go anywhere else. It was a very friendly, yet rock n roll kind of atmosphere. For my first few cuts I tried out a couple of different stylists... But, then Kelly Peach cut my hair and I knew I found the perfect stylist for me. She did an amazing job, giving me exactly what I was looking for in a haircut. Plus, she was the funniest most personable person who has ever cut my hair. Now, I am happy to say that I have been going to her for over a year and a half and couldn't be happier. She continues to give me haircuts that exceed my expectations and every time I sit in her chair, it's like seeing an old friend. The cut is great and the conversation is great. As long as I am living in the greater Los Angeles area, there is no one else I would go to. I highly recommend her to anyone who expects the best. Pros: Best haircut in the best atmosphere more

angela did my hair, and it came out absolutely beautiful! my color has never looked better. she took her time, and listened to what i wanted. it didn't hurt my cut was only 20 bucks since it was my first time getting my hair done there. i saw kelley to wax and shape my eyebrows. i'm normally hesitant to let anyone wax my eyebrows but she did a great job and made me feel extremely comfortable. i will definitely go back Pros: the staff was so friendly, and i got exactly what i wanted Cons: i didn't want to leave! ;-) more

Great Hair!! 11/5/2009

I have been going to Trim to see Jaimee for 6 years now. She does my color and haircut, and I always leave there looking great. I am sad she is going to be on maternity leave for 2 months, but I know I will be in great hands no matter who I see while she is gone. By being a client of trim for so long I have gotten a chance to get to know other stylist as well. Everyone is always nice, and friendly. I love trim!! Pros: friendly people more
