Found my barber! 11/30/2009

I moved to LA last year and I had been in search for a barber. I finally found it at trim. Jason was really good. Took the time to understand what I wanted and how my hair grows. He did a great job and my wife approved - which is hard! Oh and they give you beer while you are on the chair :) Pros: Good professionals Cons: none so far more

Silvia Estrada is not only the most loving, genuine and entertaining chick in Venice Beach, she is also one hell of a stylist. I walked into TRIM about 2 years ago to take advantage of their 1st time $20 hair cut and was paired up with Silvia randomly. Since then, she transformed the poofy, frizzy mess I walked in with that day into the sleek, dark, healthy locks I have today. I get lots of compliments on my hair, and my roommate always says she wishes she had hair like mine. I tell her to go see Silvia. She is really the best... and a cool chica too! I've been going to trim. for about a year now. Kelly Peach for hair, Kelly Baker for eyebrows. Kelly Peach, stylist, has an uncanny knack for finding a style that works for YOU with little to no direction. She also takes time to help her clients learn how they can reproduce a style at home. She's also great company, which always makes it seem less like an appointment and more like coffee talk. Kelly Baker does the best eyebrows I've ever seen and had done on myself! I walk out of there with an amazing arch I didn't even know I had! Pros: Best eyebrows in town Cons: The new front desk girl could use a little help more

update review... its been 3 years since i've been going here and these girls deliver ever time. I see Nik and its always a great cut. not to mention they grow out great. i'm a busy guy and sometimes i go 8 weeks inbetween cuts and it always looks great- unlike those cheap supercuts that in 4 weeks look all homeless. if you live on the west side and not sure where to go def give Nik and the other girls at trim a call. you'll be happy you did. ps- they'll give you a free beer which is great after a long day at the office. Baker enhanced everything I wanted and didn't try to work against my natural shape. I felt totally comfortable and relaxed around her. Plus she has amazing jewlerey finds and products that I stocked-up on for gifts! more

It is always a cool feeling to be welcomed when you enter a business, its even cooler when your cutter offers you a free beer or two, maybe 3, well its just cool ! Jason, a life saver no doubt, the guy DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A SAFE PERSON, yet has the coolest laid back personality that you could ask for, he offers suggestions on what he thinks I need as far as look & product (refused to cut my hair the way I wanted it) THANK GOD ! He knows his stuff & isnt afraid to make it happen !! Seems every time Im in that salon, in that chair I meet new people & have a great weekend !! Insane Place, Hot Stylists & Booze 11/18/2009

So I have a hard time finding a barber / stylist that can actually lay down a solid east coast fade, that being said walked by a big sign that said $20 for the first time client, sweet ! Walk in & see a bunch of inked hot ladies, nice music & was greeted with free booze while I wait for my stylist, too cool.. A minute goes by & out comes a heavily inked & fairly sized gym rat that introduces himself as Jason ""my stylist"" for today, WTF ! So I am way leary, because no inked guy is cutting my hair, I wanted the cute gals in the front, oh well, when in Rome I guess... All I can say, best fade of my life, not to mention dudes on point with cars, ink & he is a fellow east coaster at heart !! 3 cuts later & they get better & better !! Gotta rep for Trim & my boy J..... Pros: Gotta love the talent Cons: Havent found one yet more

Worth the Drive 11/18/2009

Even though I live in DT LA I still manage to endure the drive for my AMAZING stylist Jason. Jason is a guy's guy who knows exactly what looks good on a woman. His honestly and skill (combined with his good-looks) convinced me to make a dramatic change with my hair. I wasn't sure at first of his vision, but I trusted him and away he went. Cut, Color, Blowdry and I was hooked! No longer than every six weeks I make the drive to enjoy the feeling I have when I leave TRIM. I suggest you give this totally tattooed stylist a chance and you will be convinced. Pros: Come & Look at Eye Candy-Leave Looking Like Eye Candy Cons: Needs to offer more than Beer & Wine more

I've been going to Eric Willett for about a year now. One of my co-workers recommended him and I am SO thankful she did. He does my cut and color and always listens to exactly what I want. I have a sensitive scalp and bleach my hair so he has gone out of his way to make me as comfortable as possible. He is so patient with me and does not rush. Tree is the best stylist I've ever been to.... 11/16/2009

First off all I've had many bad haircuts so of course I was nervous. Once I met Tree she made me so comfortable instantly. We had a lengthy consultation that ended in the perfect color,gloss, and an edgy cut. She is the best and I plan on looking no further. Seriously Tree you regained my trust in a hair stylist.
