I am a 57 year old professional male who has suffered from chronic depression since my late teens. I have been treated with psychoanalytic, psychotherapy, and perhaps 15-30 different medications. In addition because at times the depression was unbearable I periodically abused nearly every type of drug available. Including prescription opiates in doses 10-20 times the prescribed dose.\r \r After receiving ketamine treatment at Trifecta Medical I no longer suffer with severe depression. I function at a level that was impossible while depressed. My personal, professional, and life in general has dramatically improved. I had lost all hope years ago and were it not for the pain it would cause my family, would have gladly ended my life. \r Ketamine does not produce a high or euphoria like many drugs, it does not bring happiness and complete contentment. But it did eliminate my lifelong suffering and need to self medicate.
