Shana is the best hair stylist in Santa Maria!! 5/13/2011

When I moved to Santa Maria years ago, I had a hard time finding a salon that I liked. Many people referred me to Trends Salon and told me that Shana does great hair. They were right!! Over the years, I have had long layers, an assymetric bob, highlights and more! Shana is a good listener and always gives me exactly what I ask for. She is also great to talk to while i'm at the salon. Overall a great experience. I ALWAYS get compliments. If you want a great cut and color- see Shana! more

Christina is very good! 3/17/2011

I am new to the area and found Trends salon by google. I called and made and appointment and asked for ""someone good."" I was given an appointment with Christina and the best part was she could get me in right away. I only had to wait two days! I am VERY happy with the results of my hair cut and color. Christina is very kind and she did exactly what I asked. I read on some reviews that this place was overpriced. I totally disagree. It was very reasonably priced .....and really, what wouldn't I pay for good hair:) I highly recommend this Salon and Christina! more

Christina is sooooo Wonderful... She did a such a great job with my mothers hair.. It did wonders for her self esteem... she is almost 70 years young. Christina help her with her transition to her beautiful silver locks and her stylish young yet sophisticated cut.. She had so many compliments that it made me jealous... more

Diana Awesome Stylist - Ask for Her 9/9/2010

I came into Trends with MAJOR Hair problems. Diana was awesome... She listened to my concerns and addressed each one. Very professional, takes her time, goes the extra mile, and she knows what she is doing. I've lived on the Central Coast for over 20 years and it's difficult to find good Stylist. I've already recommended her to my friends and they love her too. Thanks Diana and Trends for having a up scale salon that we can go to. :) more

Who says you have to go to Santa Barbara to get stylish cuts and color? Christy Hord has been my hairstylist for years. People literally stop me and ask where I get it done. I'm in my mid-50s, and thought that kind of thing only happened with beautiful young blondes! That's what's best about Christy: she doesn't try to give me a style or color that is wrong for me. She's 100% current on hair trends, keeps you looking like a million bucks and really LISTENS to what I think I want. Christy is honest if she thinks a style or color won't work. Best Hair Cut in Santa Maria 2/24/2010

Brian is the best. I had not had my hair cut in quite some time and it was a mess. Brian was helpful and made some great suggestions. I love my hair cut. I will be a client of Brian's as long as I live in the area. It was a great experience. He even does free bang trims in between hair cuts. Thanks Brian. Jesse at Trends Salon 12/16/2009

My hair was cut by someone in Lompoc and she chopped my hair unevenly and it was a mess... I called Trends salon and ask for someone who is good, the lady schedule me to see Jesse, without even explaining he fixed my hair and the he did not even want to charge me at all, he fix my hair and i was amazed how great hair stylist he is... Unfortunately he is moving to a different salon, but I got lucky because he gave his new contact number and the new salon where he is going to be.. ""The hair lounge"" I will never go to any hair dresser except with him.. Love him so much.. he is the best.. Take my word =) Pros: Best Hairstyler more

Best hair salon in Santa Maria, CA 11/28/2009

So I just moved here and went to Bryan cause I read these reviews and thank god they were true. I couldn't believe how much he hooked me up with my hair and the price was hecka cheap. In Vegas I payed about $220 to get my hair done and the truth is it wasn't all that plus the salon wasn't as nice as this one. Thanks people for putting up the reviews cause I wouldn't have been able to find this guy!!!!! Any good place to eat around here cause there is only fast food :( Pros: Easy to find and Bryan rocks!!! Cons: Only takes cash or check :( more

great place to get a hair cut 8/17/2009

i had my hair cut by malia goodchild and she was great she really knew what she was doing and i will definatly be going back i would definatly recomend her. she talks to you and makes you feel very welcomed. it was really nice. Pros: nice people, come out with great hair, clean Cons: pretty pricey more

I LOVE JESSE. ORIGINALLY FROM THE CENTRAL COAST MOVED TO LA AND HAVE HAD A HARD TIME FINDIGN SOMEONE TO DO MY CRAZY THICK HAIR AND DO IT WELL. JESSE SAVED ME. I HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL PLACES IN THE 805 AND LA AREAS AND NEVER GOT AS MANY COMPLIMENTS AS WHEN HE CUT AND COLORED MY HAIR. I HAVE FRIENDS WHO WANTED TO HAVE IT PLACED ON TRACKS FOR THIER OWN HAIR. I WILL DRIVE UP FROM LA ANYDAY TO HAVE JESSE DO MY DO. Pros: CLEAN, FRIENDLY, EDUCATIONAL SERVICE. Cons: PRICE.. BUT IT COULD BE WORSE more

Worst Salon in Santa Maria 4/30/2009

After going to trends salon you realize quickly that this salon does not care about its customers nor its employees conduct. My hair stylist was extremely late, the hair cut was made for an old lady and had to be re-corrected by another hair stylist at a different salon. They are overpriced and over rated. Two thumbs down. Not to mention that the salon has the most annoying old hag running the front desk, I will never go back and encourage any young people to try a different salon. Save your money and time. Pros: Nothing deserves credit. Cons: Terrible customer service, bad hair stylists, not hip enoug more

Brian and Jesse are the SHIZNIT!!!!!!!!!!! These two guys are the greatest hair stylist here and everywhere. Oh and they are two of the nicest guys that you will ever meet. Very Highly Recommended. You'll regret going elsewhere. Pros: Excellent Service and Top of the line stylist. more

One of the best hairstylest on the central coast. Amazing hair cuts and color jobs. I did highlights for my first time and it turned out amazing exactly how i wanted it to be. If your looking for a fun enviorment to get your hair done this is the place to come. Awsome employees and great prices. He's an amazing profesional due to his educational experience. Having spent my whole life getting hair cuts at barber shops and was quite satisfied. Then my wife dragged me into Trends while she had her hair done. During her hair coloring processing time I asked her stylist Brian if he did mens hair cuts; he said he did and he cut mine. Pros: Always willing to take me as a walk in.
