I made an appointment and showed up about half an hour early, no problem. I was helped immediately. The shop is gorgeous! I had never in my life had a wax (down there), so I was reassured by their website that their waxes were virtually pain free. I did research other salon type places also in the area, but none were as convincing as Treats. And I wasn't going to subject my first bikini wax to a neighborhood nail place. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called in which was awesome, but make sure you go to the correct store location (I had called the Ventura Blvd. phone number and it ended up forwarding to their 2nd location on Riverside Dr., so make sure you go to the right location). Easy parking, really cute boutique! I thought I would be wimpy and get Veronica's No Scream Cream, but I figured to just be brave and do without it. Needless to say, for my first time, it was a great experience... I got the brazilian wax and it was so quick! I was done in about 10 minutes.. and it was like other reviews have said, pretty much painless and a sanitary practice. It was easy and done so fast, that I don't understand why I psyched myself out for so long. I used one of the citysearch coupons so I got a free loofah on a stick and a pair of undies when I was done, which was awesome. I also like their points card, that will definitely encourage me to come again, and I definitely will! Veronica was so great, professional, and welcoming and she did a great job. I'm definitely sold on this place, had to restrain myself from buying all the cute lotions and scrubs. I will definitely recommend Treats to others. I was completely BARE down there in 10 minutes. AND IT DIDN'T EVEN HURT!! Other places it takes about an hour and they don't even do as good of a job as Veronica. I used to go to a hyped up spa on Ventura Blvd. to get waxed. The waxing used to take about an hour and it used to hurt sooo much. On top of that, they wouldn't even do a very clean job. From now on, I'm only going to Veronica. She's clean, punctual, and awesome. I strongly recommend this place to everyone... ESPECIALLY girls who've sworn off waxing because of the pain. Pros: Clean, fast, no wait, painless, nice staff!!! Cons: I can't think of any. more

After reading reviews of this salon, i decided to try it. I really like the look when i get a brazilian bikini wax, but i hate the pain of getting one. When I called and made my reservation, the receptionist said a full leg and brazilian would take approximately 20 mins. I didn't believe that because i went to a lot of salons and they normally take about an hour. Well, the wax this salon uses is amazing. There's not that much pain involved and I will definitely return when i need to get waxed again. Also, it took about 25-30 minutes for the owner to wax my legs and bikini. I highly recommend this salon! Pros: extremely skilled waxing staff Cons: Not sure if parking might be a problem during busy hours. I had an early morning appointment so there was no issue with parking. more

I'm extremely sensitive to pain "down there" and I don't have a lot of brow, so if someone waxes just one or two extra hairs, I look a lot like Cruella DeVille. That being said, about a year ago, I took a risk and went to Veronica after many painful bikini waxes. I'd read all her amazing reviews so I thought it was worth a try. It was. Veronica was so kind and the wax was painless. Since then I won't go to anyone else. For brows I used to go to Anastasia, where it's just an overpriced factory and they treat you like dirt unless you're a star. I went to Angelina and she not only took the time to make my brows perfect, the charge was far more reasonable than all those ridiculous spas and salons. At Treats for the Face, you feel like a star no matter who you are. The service is personal and precise. They listen to what you want and give you just that. Also, Veronica remembers all the little details of my life everytime I come in. It's like going to hang with you friends and coming out all clean, shiny and pretty! I am so excited to have found everything I'm looking for in a salon in one adorable place. That's rare in this crazy town.
