I was expecting the process of helping my daughter find the perfect wedding dress to be fun...IT WAS! I was expecting the process of finding the perfect mother of the bride dress to be difficult...IT WASN'T! Treasures has the most beautiful selection of dresses I've ever seen and the customer service we received has yet to be experienced anywhere else. Being a plus size woman, it's hard enough finding everyday clothes that are flattering so imagine my lack of enthusiasm in knowing I was going to have to find a mother of the bride dress! Once we arrived there though, hope greeted me at the door in the form of Vicki. She was so helpful in helping me pick out a dress that not only was beautiful but that was slimming and complimented my skin and hair color. She was oh so patient with me as I teetered on which dress to choose. I had no problems with alterations as some have commented. At the end of the whole process, I was able to walk down the isle of my daughter's wedding feeling confident and beautiful thanks to Vicki and Treasures. As far as choosing a wedding dress goes...same awesome experience and customer service! Lauren & Bonnie were so attentive to my daughter and they really listened to her likes and dislikes. Fittings and alterations were perfect and problem free. Treasures will definately be my first and last stop when my other daughter is married! As a plus size mother of the bride, shopping for a dress for my daughter's wedding was not a pleasant experience, UNTIL I walked into Treasures Bridal. Vickie and her girls were wonderful. I ordered a dress they helped me visualize and waited for its arrival. I tried it on and it was HUGE. The onsite fitter made the adjustments and I was to return in about two weeks. Next fitting: the dress was still too big in the bodice, but I was told I was wrong in that opinion. The dress was still so long I was tripping on it (I had been in the same shoes all along) and we needed to make adjustments to the shawl clips that had been installed. (I ended up having to remove the clips the night of the wedding as I could not raise my arms to light a candle.). Workmanship was crooked and shoddy. The dress had to be shipped to California so now I was in a time crunch and it was arranged that I would go for the fitting in the morning and the dress would be done in the late afternoon. So I have to say that they tried to accommodate me. But in the end, I wore a dress that looks sloppy and huge on me in the photos and was was still so long that I tore the lining about 4 times catching my heel in the dress. The dress of my dreams ended up being a huge disappointment and I felt uncomfortable all evening. I try not to think about the fact that I did not INSIST that the dress be taken in to fit me. The ironic thing is tthat we used the Treasure's recommendation for my other daughter to get her bridesmaid dress altered at Queen Alterations (the Asian lady referred to in other review) and they made the dress fit like it had been made for her. Treasure's is a family business and everyone is very, very nice. But in the end, I so wanted my dress from Treasure to be wonderful, but it just wasn't. more

My daughter married Dec’10. My dress ordeal began Mar’10. Called 15 stores in GA, only 2 had dress. 1st/not polite; 2nd/very polite/nurturing/understanding but was 60miles away. I elected to await May trip to LA. Dress took 4mths, then needed alterations. After return to LA Sept, alteration took 5wks/but still didn’t fit. Rushed 2nd alterations & mailed dress/Still didn’t fit!! After crying 3days, searched for dress again in GA. After calling 3hrs, I found the woman from Mar!!! Knew it was her by tone/voice, she confirmed same & still had dress!! I explained about 1st dress, she said come in, try on hers, if I needed a diff size she would try to locate or would have altered w/in day or two. I went to her shop, she was about to leave but stayed. Dress in shop was too large so she stated that she would call mfg on Monday to see if they had my size in stock or just shipped one elsewhere, and if shipped elsewhere...she would see if they would sell to me if they had time to make another. She called me on Mon afternoon...mfg had one & was mailing. She had dress 2 days later!!! I went to shop, p/u dress, went around corner to person she suggested for alterations. My dress was altered/finished w/in 4hrs and fit like a glove!!!!\r I can attest that when my other daughter gets married, no matter what state I’m living in...I will return to ‘TREASURES’.\r more

I just wanted to say what a wonderful experience it was purchasing the dress for my son's wedding with you. I had looked at all the high end department stores and couldn't find something that I really liked. From the moment I entered your store, I felt at ease. Lauren helped me find the perfect dress. Treasures gets 5 stars from me! Fabulous gowns plus great customer service! In high school, I always got my prom dresses from Treasures (in addition to my friends & their friends). The selection was more than plenty and with every trip I went in there, Bonnie was so helpful in helping me try on & pick out the perfect dress! I'm not yet engaged, but when that day comes I know Treasures will be my FIRST & ONLY stop to order my bridal gown, bridesmaid gowns, flower girl dress, and even my mom & grandmother's dress! These ladies really cherish each & every customer and their saying is true...""The key to unlocking the dress of your dreams."" Thanks Treasures & can't wait to come back bridal gown shopping! more

I had an excellent experience shopping for my bridal gown at Treasures. They have a good selection of bridal, bridesmaids and mother of the bride gowns. My mother lives in South Carolina so we ordered her dress at the same time that I ordered my gown. She coordinated her trip for alterations when she came for my bridal shower and then we picked up both her dress and my gown the week of the wedding. I have recommended Treasures to several of my friends and two ladies that I work with have gotten their mother of the bride dresses there. If you want to spoil the beautiful experience of being a bride, then go to this shop. This is a small business with NO ALTERATIONS on site, they promise you they will take care of your alterations, but after you sign their contract, you are completely on your own, VERY DISHONEST, Bonnie (daughter of the owner) is a disgusting fake and greedy seller, that just lie to you, assuring that with just ""few alterations"" the dress can fit you, she lied! They did not take my measurements right and ordered a dress way too small, Bonnie refused to re-order my correct size and did not assume THEIR mistake. Once you have the dresses and realize the quality and fit is terrible, they send you out of the store to an alteration place, an asian lady, that is very unprofessional and abusive in charging you hundreds of dollars, I paid $450.00 just in alterations! and the dress was completely spoiled just 1 month before my wedding. Bonnie and her mother did not want to answer the phone and when they did they were very rude and agressive. Trying to work any problem out with these people is impossible, completely spoiled my engagement experience and add so many legal issues and $$$ expenses. \r \r Shop where you KNOW the owners or can have some recourse such as a department store. Once they charge your credit card, you are stuck with whatever comes in. They won't help you! AND they charge your card for the total amount, not just the deposit.\r more

I recently got engaged and started the dress shopping about 2 weeks ago. The first place we started looking was Treasures Formals & Bridal. Lauren helped us that day and was such a sweetheart. She made the experience of shopping for the dress so incredible. She never rushed me or made me feel like just another customer. We made an appointment at another bridal shop that same day, and it was awful. You only got to pick 5 dresses and they weren't very pretty. The lady helping me rushed me through my appointment so she could get to the next. I should have cancelled my next appointment but at least I got the validation that the dress at Treasures Formals & Bridals was the one! The dress selection at Treasures is great and the dresses are absolutely beautiful. I chose the very first dress I tried on. They truly made such an exciting moment the ultimate experience. I would recommend anyone to shop at Treasures Formals & Bridals. The bad reviews must be from disgruntled bridezillas because my experience was amazing! Thank you Lauren!!! more

This is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. This place deals with bridals and formals. The dresses we ordered were not the right size, one was stained and the owner, Vicky, would not make good on the merchandise. They ask you to sign a document saying that you have picked up the dresses before you even see them. Once you have the dresses and realize the quality and fit is terrible, they send you out of the store to alteration places that don't trust Treasures and tell you so. Trying to work any problem out with these people is impossible. Shop where you KNOW the owners or can have some recourse such as a department store. Treasures Formals personnel, (especially the owner, Vicky) are phony and in my opinion, very dishonest. more

I ordered a dress from this store that arrived about 4 sizes too large. They refused to order a correct size. They sent me to 2 alterations shops both of which told Vicky at Treasures that it would not make sense to try and re-make this dress. Vicky's advice to me, ""Find a cheap alterations place."" She would turn sugar sweet when a customer walked in, then go back to her mean self when they were out of hearing range. Treasures Formals messed up and stuck me with a $580 dress that I have to spend over three hundred to get it fitted. My opinion, go to a good department store where you can count on service. This place is awful. Once they charge your credit card, you are stuck with whatever comes in. They won't help you! AND they charge your card for the total amount, not just the deposit. more

My engagment has been a very enjoyable time until I stepped foot into this store. I needed help with matching bridesmaid colors, but because I told them that I had bought my bridesmaid dresses from a different store they treated me with the WORST customer service. The worst part is that it was the OWNER who we were dealing with! The only way she would do business with me is if I paid her for thier time.....coompletely UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Before walking into their store I still needed to purchase a veil, headpiece and shoes. I left the store receiving no help and drove 10 extra min to Bridal Beautiful where they were so nice that I bought my veil, shoes, and headpiece from that day. I hope this review will stop other brides and bridesmaids from going into this store!!!! Cons: Worst Attitude and Customer Service more

We entered this store yesterday to compare a tie to some fabric of a designer they carried, it was to take all of 3 min's. The OWNER of this store stated that she needed to get paid for her services. Unbelievable! Fortunately we drove 10 min down the road to Sandy Springs where they were more than helpful and they got our veil and shoe business. This lady at Treasures never even thought of that, she embarassed herself and made a scene in her store infront of two other couples. I would never recommend anyone to shop here, weddings are to be fun and exciting and up until this store they have been. Its just further proof that his lady is all about whats in it for her, disappointing to say the least.. This business is to big for someone to have an attitude like that.. Im glad her true colors came out before we bought anything.. Cons: Customer Service is horrible, Needs attitude adjustment more

In 2005 I had the pleasure of walking into Treasure's (after numerous phone calls to other places hoping to be open after 5pm) and was greeted by the most welcoming family I have come to know. \r \r Since then I have bought 4 dresses (excluding my bridal gown) and have been pleased with every purchase, even more so than the last. I have shopped at Treasures since they opened in Roswell. I have purchased a mother of the bride dress, a maid of honor dress and several formal dresses. Some of the jewerly is one of a kind made by Everything Angelic and goes so well with the dresses. I have purchased several pieces and have enjoyed them. I have always had a very positive experience and wanted to share that with others that might want to have a great shopping experience as well. Pros: Very warm caring place more

I went to the bridal salon to buy my bridal gown and it was teh worst experience ever. They assured me they would take care of the alterations, and when the gown came, they left me alone and were very rude. They are so nice before you pay, after I paid they didnt care about the dress and were never available for me anymore. The dress was too small and they didnt want to exchange it or take care of it with the manufacturer. They do not have alterations on site, finally charged me over 450 dollars in teh alterations and the Korean seemstress completely spoil the dress just 1 month before the wedding, they did not assume any responsibility and I had to hire a lawyer, a complete nightmare, please stay away from them. They are a family owned business and Bonnie's mother was even worst than her, so aggressive and rude. Cons: They will steel your money more

This was my last stop after shopping all day for a wedding dress and it was wonderful. Bonnie was spectacular...so patient and gentle. The experience was comfortable and intimate...not pushy and crowded like so many other places. They have a limited amount of dresses but such a variety that I think everyone can find something. Plus, great MOB and bridesmaid variety. Also, beautiful selection of shoes/jewels. Highly recommended!!! Pros: Service, atmosphere, selection more

After searching all over Sandy Springs and Dunwoody, then up to Buford for a dress that I could buy for a second wedding, I ventured into Treasures one evening. I was treated royally, although it was late, I had no appointment (there were no other brides there), and I am sure the staff had the desire to go home for dinner. I was given all the time I needed, with encouragement and patience, as well as appropriate critiques of how dresses might work for me. When the perfect dress appeared, after MANY try-ons, it was not greeted with a sigh of relief, but with true enthusiasm for me. Most salons did not seem to care whether I found anything or not, being the Mother of a Groom in April, and the Mother of a Bride in October was the only role they cared about. I will talk about this shop to anyone and everyone for some time to come - whether it is for Bridal needs, or for elegant formal wear. They are the best! When trying to vote for my favorite bridal shop, I noticed that Treasures was not listed as an option to vote for. This store is truly a treasure amongst all bridal boutiques. I've been to many bridal shops in Atlanta and happily stumbled across Treasures by accident. I'm so glad that I did. Not only is every dress, veil, and shoe handpicked by the owner, but they handmake all of the headpieces and jewelry as well according to your style. Their prices are also very reasonable and they never nickel and dime you. Their customer service is unprecidented. Every visit, I always feel so special b/c they only allow one bride at a time. I also never felt any pressure. It's truly been a wonderful experience and I could not thank them enough for their kindness. Pros: Excellent Customer Service and Beautiful Dresses! more
