Traynor Tree Service

The Traynor tree crew was supposed to trim trees away from our townhouse units. But rather than judiciously trimming the branches of a 20-year old dogwood that was the focal point of my yard, the tree crew simply hacked off all the branches completely on one side of the tree! Apparently they wanted to do the job quickly and without any consideration of the look, use, or value of the tree. As a result, they destroyed over a decade's worth of the tree's growth in an error that is irreversible. It has turned my shady deck into a hot, unusable space in the summer, ruined the landscaping of my deck, exposed the remaining tree to risk of disease (should only prune dogwoods when dormant), and impaired the market value of my home. I contacted Scott Traynor about the work his crew did, and he promised to inspect the tree and let me know what might be done. 5 days later, I've yet to hear back from him. BTW, this is the same company that last year removed a Bradford Pear tree from my neighbor's yard and let it crash onto bushes, a fountain, and trellis in my yard, because they ""didn't realize how tall the tree was."" What kind of tree company doesn't think of that? Bottomline: their work may be cheap, but it's also shoddy. You get what you pay for. more

Scott has cut down at least 5 large trees for me. You can imagine the mess that could have been left for me to clean up! After all, I just employed Scott to cut the trees down. When I got home, the only way I could tell he had been there was that the trees were gone! There was literally nothing for me to clean up. All I had to do was enjoy my yard. I cannot begin to express how highly I would recommend Traynor Tree Service. Scott came to my home and really took the time to listen to my concerns during the appraisal. His expertise and knowledge was beyond valuable in helping me decide what to do. Once on site and cutting, you could see that he and his crew were quick and thorough. Scott was prompt in coming to my home for an estimate and his expertise was valuable in helping me decide on which trees to remove. I highly recommend Traynor Tree Service! The staff was professional and friendly and went above and beyond my expectations. Where to begin...I got three quotes to remove 12 - 15 large trees from my property. Scott Traynor and his company came in with the best price and were able to begin soon after quoting me. Not only was Scott Traynor nice and respectful but he guided my decision about what trees I ""really"" wanted to remove. Scott talked to me about what trees should remain to ensure that I still had proper privacy from street traffic and which ones should be removed to help protect my home from future damage. I got quotes from two of the highly recommended tree removal services, and Traynor gave me a great cost estimate. Although they did not give me a firm date when they would complete the job, just two days after getting a quote, they completed the job and did a fantastic job.
