This is an economy motel but has amenities I really wanted such as I was in the area for four days and needed a place to stay without a car. There was a limo to Big Texan for free. The day I got there, I used it. The following day, I went to eat breakfast, I ate full as it was Hot and free which I thought was a surprise for the price I paid. Then in the evening I needed a place to exercise, I went to the Golds Gym next door for free. That was a surprise too as opposed to a little room with minimal equipment. Then came back my stuff was all in Safe which was safe, then took a walk to a restaurant across the street. Food was great! The stay continued on with eating, exercising, drinking, free limo rides. Staff were courteous, WiFi was free and it worked!! I will stay here again and recommend to friends!! more

Great for the money. Easy to find and great to navigate from. Good bang for the money and I would stay here again if I were in Amarillo. more

The coffee pot in room was slightly mismached and that was all that was not right on par!\r \r Very nice buffet. Travelers seemed to like the waffles shaped like Texas!\r \r This was a points stay more

NICE!!! Loved it! 8/9/2011

Stayed for a night on my way across Texas, booked in advance and got the discount rate. Quite pleased with it after reading of the previous reviews. I go the impression things had changed recently. Very easy check-in,, polite , efficient front desk. Room was very nice and roomy. Internet like most hotels a bit ""flaky"" at times, but connected ok. Room was clean and well serviced, bathroom spotless, and very nice shower unit. Plenty of room to do any work, with talbe and chairs. Great location next to the Interstate, lots of eating places in walking distance, I would reccomend Tylers Barbeque place across the road, superb food and really nice people who run it, you can Google their web-site. 2 minutes to the Interstate.All in all quite happy to use again. more

We stayed only one night, but the room was clean and what you would expect for an older hotel. The front desk staff was very accomodating. We had the back of our truck loaded with our possessions, as we were on the way to our new home in New Mexico. They let us park the truck at the front of the hotel, within view of the front desk so that we wouldn't have to worry about somone stealing things out of the back of the truck during the night. more

Unbeatable Price 7/15/2011

Other reviews said the building was old. I didn't think it was that old and the price was unbeatable, as was the overall quality of the stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! more
