Will not stay anywhere else 5/9/2011

My wife and I have stayed at a lot of motels, but this motel has the best beds we have ever slept on. The rooms are old but they are clean. The location is great because it is close to all the fast food breakfast places and other restaurants we like to go to. The staff are friendly and helpful. I can say the only downfall is the parking. If you have a large vehicle it is a hassle to park it, because some of their parking is in a parking garage, and my truck is too tall to fit, and it is a stock 4X4 not lifted at all. They did however allow me to park my truck in the managers parking spot which really helped me, so they were accommodating! Overall we will not stay anywhere else when we are in Monterey, we always look forward to sleeping in these beds, they are so comfortable! more

The big plus is it's location - within walking distance of downtown Monterey which has great coffee shops through to excellent quality restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Monterey, which we loved visiting. more

Rooms are small but very comfortable, new paint, carpet, furniture, pillowtop mattress. Rooms are wi'fi'ed with a very strong connection. Staff friendly and knowledgible. more

Considering the great value price of this hotel/motel it was very good. Rooms were clean but dated, we had patio access directly to the pool (unfortunately it was too cold for a swim!) and the included breakfast was certainly better than other more expensive hotels we stayed in on this trip. more

This hotel is great. Room was large with excellent facilities including free Wifi which worked! Room was also clean, bed very comfortable with free parking at your door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The big plus is it's location - within walking distance of downtown Monterey which has great coffee shops through to excellent quality restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Monterey, which we loved visiting. more
