This is the best Italian in the city. The service is always very friendly and professional. There are so many great wine selections. The food is always amazing. We can't wait to go back and we always recommend Trattoria to all of our friends. Pros: Romantic, Accomodating, Martini's more

Formerly great 11/7/2004

I used to love this place when it was on Morse Road. I guess prices had to go up to reflect the higher rent in Grandview, but is that why the quality and creativity declined from what it was? Still, it isn't really bad, just no longer interesting and since it is so close to other, better places, I'm not sure I will be back. I've tried it about five times since the move, each time it seems to get worse. Pros: Large portions, Lovely space Cons: , parking problems, Expensive for type more

This is my favorite restaurant when I come in town. I live in NYC but love coming to this wonderful restaurant which rivals a lot of NYC restaurants. The food is ALWAYS great and the service compliements. This is expensive for Columbus but well worth it. more

This is the kind of truly great food that people gladly drive clear across the city for. The staff is excellent and yet unpretentious and warm, as is the decor. Best Italian Cuisine in Town! 2/17/2003

My husband took me to Trattoria for Valentine's Day and I must say that the whole experience was wonderful. I had the Tortelli (to die for!) and he had the Rotolo (also very delicious). The food was so flavorful, with whole cloves of garlic in the sauce--YUM! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Pros: FOOD, ATMOSPHERE, WINE LIST Cons: PARKING more

Simply the BEST 9/8/2002

As a transplanted Brooklyn, NY Italian, I was THRILLED to find Trattoria Roma. It is by far the best Italian food I have had in Columbus yet, and I have been here 15 years. It is one of the few Columbus restaurants to which I am not embarrassed to bring visiting family and friends. It is, however, as stated, NOT a place to bring children. more
