I strongly recommend Transmission Pros. I came to them after being totally scammed by another auto shop that told me I needed a brand new transmission. Newell, Transmission Pro's owner, told me that all I needed was a part that would cost a few hundred dollars. I was hooked! Wow, an honest auto shop! Since then I've been getting my oil changes, maintenance and repairs done here as well. They have never over-charged me and have always been honest. Richard, who works the front desk and handles operations, is always helpful and courteous, too. Give them a try, they will give you a fair deal and will not over-sell you. more

Transmission Pro rebuilt my 98 Honda 6/8/2012

Good Servicing 9/28/2011

We honestly thought that we'd get the news that he would need to rebuild the transmission. He called and gave us good news, that it just needed really good servicing and that it still had some miles on it. We were pleasantly surprised and got the car fixed for a few hundred dollars. more

He fixed my wife's car transmission for $400 less than anyone else quoted. (and he called 5 different places!). They did a great job... it was quick and courteous. We would go back to Transmission King's in a hearts beat! more

Great Place 9/26/2011

I am usually very picky when selecting service providers, especially for potentially expensive services. I went to Transmission Pros because there is another car (engine) shop that gets rave reviews on Yelp (straight 5 stars out of numbers of reviews) and they routinely refer their own customers to Transmission Pros. more

Quite Reasonable 9/19/2011

I've been using Transmission Pros for about a few years for all kinds of maintenance on my/my wife's SUVs - not just transmission work. I first used them to replace the transmission in my 4runner, which they rebuilt quite reasonably. It's still running about 75,000 miles later. The mechanic is good about only doing what needs to be done and keeping repairs economical and practical. Cars are complicated, and I've had to go back on one or two occasions when something wasn't fixed completely, and he has made it right. After going there probably 15 times for various issues I'm comfortable that he's telling it to me straight. more

Take it to the experts that knows 9/13/2011

I do a lot of driving for an independent contracting job and I have to use my own car. I always take my car to Transmission Pros to get my transmission fluid flush or let them check if there is any problem with it (Transmission Computer Check) so far it's running strong. I have over 250k miles. I just want to say thank you guys for the service. more

Honest & Trustworthy 9/7/2011

Amazing guys at this shop. I have highly recommended them to everyone I know & even told them that I found them through the amazing reviews. They told me everything that was wrong with my car & advised me to take it back to the place that I got the struts at to get them looked at rather than trying to charge me for replacing them. He said they might still be under warranty at the other place. Honest & trustworthy. Amazing qualities to find in an auto shop. They are saints. more

Great Turn Around! 9/2/2011

We began bringing our cars (Chevy S10 and Saturn Vue) to Newell at Transmission Pros about 3 years ago after another shiesty shop tried to tell us we needed a whole new transmission (ended up being only a frayed gearshift cable that with labor was a fraction of what a new transmission would cost)...since then we have been hooked. Extremely fairly priced, really good turn around times and they take the time to explain the problem and show you the parts they are replacing. We take our cars here for everything! (Price range obviously varies depending on what you are having done to your car.) more

Trustworthy Auto Shop - Finally! 7/13/2011

I found this shop when I requested a 2nd opionion from another place that told me I needed a brand new transmission. Newell told me that all I needed was a few hundred dollar part. Since then, I've been getting my oil changes, maintenance and repairs done here. They never try to over-sell me. They just repair what needs to be done and always give me the best price (and believe me, I price-compare!). It is so hard to find a mechanic that you can trust. I am so glad that I found this one. Also, Richard at the front desk is always helpful and courteous. They always get back to me right away when I have a question or need a repair. Give them a try! more

I had heard good things about Transmission Pros, which is why I decided to use them. They have done regular maintenance for me as well as transmission work and brakes. I did have to return my vehicle and they repaired work that was previously done. The value is good. I am a satisfied customer. more
