Wonderful work with professional enviroment 8/7/2008

I have brought numerous cars and have had Chico come to my house and tint it. I was very impressed by how he presented himself and how he ran his business. He has one of the best shop in Columbus. If you ever want to get your car done by this shop, please do not hesitate and take your car down there. You will be very suprised on how they conduct business there. Understand that, yes there are alot of cars there and there is a waiting time but all in all you will be more than please with the out come of your vehicle. 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!!!! Avoid if you need car repairs 6/16/2008

My brother went to Tansky a couple days ago because the moonroof in his 2007 Toyota Camry was leaking. He was no longer under warranty and had to pay full price for whatever was to be done. They told him the drain tube and clips on one side were bad. The parts were cheap, but of course it would be an ""all day thing"" and so labor costs would add up to $650 dollars. He paid the fee for having the car looked at and immediately went elsewhere. He found a place near downtown that specializes in sun and moon roofs. They said it looked like the dealership didn't even reattach what they took apart. They ran compressed air through the tube that Tansky said needed replaced and put the whole thing back together. $90 later the problem was fixed with no new tube needed. Cons: They will try to rip you off for repairs. more

i like them 4/26/2008

i have been very happy with tanskys and it does not feel like a car dealership everyone is very nice and they get you out of there quickly. i felt like it was a bad thing to be a women at most dealerships. FYI its best to deal with there internet team more

Greatest car purchase experience 2/28/2008

Purchased my 2008 Prius from Tansky Sawmill Toyota, salesperson Phil most product knowledge about Prius than any dealer in town. Gave me excellent trade in value. Will buy my next car at Tansky's. more

FANTASIC SALES DEPARTMENT 2/25/2008

I have bought 2 cars from this dealership and i have been very happy both times. The sales department is very helpful especially the internet people. i received a very fair price and was in and out with my new car in 2 hours. When you want a quick and easy car buying ecperience i believe they should be HIGHLY considered. Pros: Internet team nice showroom great management Cons: none that i can think of more

Manager with no customer service skills 11/28/2007

I have never been treated so disrespectfully as I have been at Tansky Sawmill Toyota by someone who is supposed to be a manager. If you tell a customer you will call them, you should keep your word and call them. When I ordered a car, every single time I was told that I would receive a call, I was the one that had to call them. Just because the "manager" did not like the deal I wanted, he sold the car I ordered out from under me and told me I shoud take my business elsewhere!!!\r I will be telling everyone I know about my horrible experience. more

Incompetent service department 10/22/2007

I normally do not take time out for reviews, but in this case I wanted to tell others about the sheer incompetence of SERVICE department of Tansky Toyota. Their INCOMPETENCE caused wastage of lot of my time, besides some needless repair expenses. They are incompetent and in the end when their incompetence became evident, they became discourteous. \r \r Prefer Toyota West or Toyota Direct. more

Never had a Problem 8/9/2007

My husband bought a new 2003 Toyota Corolla from Tansky, we have continued to take the car back to them for service. They have always been very thorough with telling us what does and doesn't need to be done with the car. We have had such a good experience with Tansky over the last few years that we are now considering buying a Scion from them next. Pros: Staff is always very helpful and courteous. Cons: Wish they had a better selection of the Prius and Scion xB more

Neither reliable nor helpful 4/17/2006

The service at this place is the worst I have experienced so far. I baught ""03 Avalon"" at this place in 2004. Since then, I used to take my care for oil change to this place. For every oil change I have to wait at least two hours. During one instance, I have to wait 3 hours. When I complained about my long wait to the service person, he told me that I would give 10% of my next 30K mile service charge in addition to loaner car. When I called to schedule the appointment, I was told that they could not honor this as the management changed. I would never go again and strongly recommend to all my friends and collegues against going to this place. more

VERY BAD experience with service center at TANSKY TOYOTA DUBLIN OH 4/4/2006

The used vehicle I bought (TOYOTA Siena) from TANSKY TOYOTA gave me starting trouble just 24 days after the purchase from TANSKY TOYOTA Sawmill Road Dublin. The sales personal had a verbal agreement to care of it, if something happened to the vehicle within few weeks after the purchase, as this vehicle was serviced as sold by them. But he did not do anything to fix it or to get a good discount on its repair at their service center. After spending quite some time, they gave a $ 110.40 discount, where my out pocket expenses was over $ 900. \r \r TANSKY TOYOTA SERVICE CENER has a peculiar way of squeezing your money, which all customers should be aware of. THIIS IS PRIMARILY DONE BY SOME SERVICE REPRASENTATIVES, BY MANIPULATING THE HOURS OF LABOR. My vehicle was brought in for service just before noon and I got a call from my service personal before 4 pm, informing that it is ready for pick up. They billed over $ 550 for labor alone. I purchased a car here, I liked the car, but the guy I dealt with seemed like your stereotypical car salesman. Just kind of slimy, I'm not sure even what it was I didn't like about him. I have been happy with the car and the service that I have gotten when I've taken my car in. If you know you want a Toyota it's not bad, but they are a little pushy. more

An OK experience 11/15/2005

My wife and I have purchased 2 toyotas, one from toyota direct, and one here. We found the "haggling" process to be very difficult here, almost to the point of "rude." They don't give a lot of customer loyalty things to previous customers...discounts on service, oil changes...w.e haven't seen any yet! I would go back, but it's not my first choice. more

Lemon merchants with abysmal customer service 11/10/2005

After purchasing a Prius, I noticed terrible gas mileage immediately. I was told to 'let the car break in'. I called back weeks later with no improvement, told the same thing. Again, after 1400 miles, same thing. They won't say WHEN the car is supposed to work right... but a loaner Prius works just fine? This car is faulty. They say they can find nothing wrong, and will not repair or replace it. Insulting, callous customer service. Don't waste your time purchasing anything from them. Bad Customer Relations 11/8/2005

After purchasing 3 vehicles from Tansky's you would think they would consider you a valued customer. When I turned in my last car and purchased a new one, I arrived home 3 months later to find the old car in my driveway with a note stating that I had to return the car to the auto auction myself. It was a lease. Last time I shop there. more
