Overall, I was pleased with Trans-O-Mex Transmissions. Although there were some communication problems initially, they eventually redeemed themselves. The person who was supposed to get back to me with an estimate did not get back to me as expected, but I later realized that it was because the guy was out sick. When I did finally get my vehicle in the shop, I was very pleased with the work. In addition, they provided me with some free parts as well as two free synthetic oil changes. I have already recommended them. more

My uncle brought his car here for a test and it was properlly done. His car was inspected intensively. what i like about this place the most is the fact that they inspect first, let know what needs to be done before doing anything without your permission to your car. they give you the opportunity to research other shops and prices, compare and decided if you want them to work on your car. Its an awesome car repair shop. The owner of the shop, Roger is a very kind and friendly person. Explains each and every problem about the car very well and creates the customers the faith that he is doing only the job that is needed for the car in a perfect way. The only thing about trans-o-mex is that it is costlier than other shops. I understand that the quality of the work also differs but then from the customer point of view the cost is the first thing that comes in mind. So my request for them is to reduce the cost a little bit so that there would be many more happy customers. more

We really like Trans-O-Mex. They spend so much time teaching their customers exactly what happened. The first time we used them my car was having transmission problems. My boyfriend looked up highly rated places online and found Trans-O-Mex. Their facilities are very nice. Everybody was very nice. Either Tony or Roger answered the phone, and both were equally prepared to talk about the car. We took 2 cars to them, and both of them knew what was going on with both cars. They spend a lot of time talking about exactly what is wrong. They would give us the broken pieces of the car or show us the bad parts. One time they even spent time drawing what the car looked like and what was going wrong so that I would understand. They are very understanding, and they listen. I think that the biggest thing about them is their uncanny ability to listen and communicate with the customer. The only problem might have been that it did take a week to fix my car, however I don't know anything about fixing cars or how long it should have taken. Every other time it wasn't that long, and everything else about them is so good. He really tells you exactly what is wrong with the car and why it is functioning that way. Overall the experience was very good because of the communication. more

We have used Trans-O-Mex for over two years now. We have probably 15 to 18 company vehicles, and they handle all the service needs for them. They provide free pickup and delivery, and they do a great job. Overall, it is good experience. I know we had a couple of concerns before about one of their employees, but it was resolved right away. First of all, I have never had any issues with Trans-O-Mex. I have a Saab, and usually when I send it to a shop to be repaired, the mechanics find all these minor issues that do not necessarily need serviced right away, which makes me feel they are taking advantage of me as a woman. When the air went out and my car would not start, I took it to Trans-O-Mex and they did a comprehensive diagnostic. They found parts that were not standard to my vehicle, because it is a turbo, so they were extra cautious. They actually called someone else out to help with the diagnostic. It turns out that the problem was caused by another part being installed improperly by a different shop when I last had my oil changed. They did a price comparison on all the parts to ensure I got the best benefit for the dollar, rather than overcharging for brand name parts that are no different. And, they made sure I had a full understanding of the problem and the work they to be performed. Their service was so good that my husband and sister now go there as well. more
