I really love my week long stay there. Beautiful unexpected dining room on top of everything else. The owner was not super friendly But the place was awesome. more

This motel is in Historic Sheridan and gives you historic charm with up to date immenities. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and The food at the Firewater Grill was amazing and the breakfast was a deal that couldn't be beat. The few trains that came through can be noisy but not enough to wake me up. more

4 golfers, 4 rooms - the friendly desk clerk put us in the back wing, the rooms were huge - king bed, couch, table and chairs and still room for all our golf equipment and moving around. Breakfast buffet that was included - I usually skip them at ""value"" motels since they generally consist of a frozen mini danish and some watery OJ - but this buffet was great, biscuits and gravy made from scratch, two types of sausage, fresh scrambled eggs, all sorts of choices. Had a little trouble getting to the property due to some road construction just south of the motel, but after finding our way around the detours we were fine. more

We were a little nervous when we pulled up to the motel with tacky, flashing neon lights drawing us in. Our last experience with such decor was definitely sub par. But do not let this deter you. Once inside, it is a pleasant surprise.\r The room was standard, but clean. The flat screen tv, microwave and fridge were all bonuses.\r The staff were all pleasant and jovial. The bartender didn't hesistate to serve us a few drinks even though he was closing, since we had checked in so late. The manager personally inquired about the quality of our stay. And the best part was Robert the cook and his delicious breakfast. This was not your lame contenintal breakfast with an assortment of stale breads. We had eggs, bacon, country ham, buscuits and gravy, as well as the usual finds. We have been travelling across the country, and this was by far the best breakfast.\r \r All in all, the place was great, and the value was even better. We paid pennies compared to other places we've stayed this trip and had a better time. So thanks Trails End! more

Motel is not far from Interstate 90 and on ribbon development road on outskirts of town (never saw town centre as we didn't need to go out), but it was the cheapest we stayed in during 3 weeks touring ($68 + tax excl.brkfst) but the room was large, well equipped, clean and had a balcony, and there was a big indoor pool.\r Best of all it's restaurant had an excellent menu to European tastes - not always easy in the US, really good food (including fresh fish flown in daily) and when we were there a fairly senior singer and guitarist kept us very well entertained with songs and requests from any decade - he did a great Johnny Cash, but covered anyone from Beatles to Britney. more
