Although their initial quote was high, they were willing to match a competitor's low price we received through the USAA Car Buying Service's TRUECar estimate. The USAA TRUECar price was $3,289 below MSRP and very close to invoice according to the NADA Guides website. Ryan Wagemann, the sales associate that we worked with, is easy going, respectful, and professional. We would recommend him to anyone. Likewise, the internet department, Sharon in particular, answered all of our questions over a number of months as we researched the vehicle and options. Gary, the internet service manager, was also friendly and helpful. We recommend Toyota of Slidell; but we also advise you to do your homework. Know what vehicle and trim level you want; know what options you want and don't want; get quotes from other dealers; be willing to present a competitor's low price offer (with proof); pay attention to fees; etc. That way, you put yourself in a position to get a great deal. If they choose not to match a low price quote, then show a willingness to go to another dealership. However, when presented with a low price quote, we found that they really wanted our business and did everything they could to make us completely satisfied.
