For rock concerts, this is not the place. The acoustics are not thoroughly researched to make the sound differentiate from static noise or music. The old Summit was far superior ...

Great place to watch sports 11/18/2005

Great place to watch the Rocket's game. My friends and I had $10 tickets and they were still get seats. The only down side to sitting so high up is that it's not easy to get the prizes they throw. The food is pretty good. One my favorites is the garlic fries. They can sometimes put too much garlic and not enough cheese though. Parking isn't bad if you're willing to walk for bit. It usually costs $5-10. more

Home to the Houston Rockets, Aeros, and Comets, this enormous sports and music arena has seating for thousands of fans. Purchase tickets for Destiny's Child, Motley Crue, Neil Diamond, and Gwen Stefani, or see the Rockets battle against the Los Angeles Lakers. Whatever your taste, the Toyota Center has events and performances to suit your eclectic interests. In regards to the concessions, I would recommend the nachos grande. It's huge and yummy. more
