I still can't believeHow amazing this guy is I have a 2007 Lexus RX400H and I needed a 90K service on it badly (I was at 120K) A good friend who works at a Toyota dealership said he'd do it for $2200.00. He claimed it would take 2 days and is difficult. Putnam Lexus: 2 grand to do it. Another shop over by Putnam was ""more than willing"" to do it for $1400. so then I was looking at Yelp and stumbled on Brian. Everyone had rave reviews and he was close by. I called and asked if he had done a 90K on a lexus? ""Yup, sure have"" then he quoted me $795 OUT THE DOOR!!!! I'm thinking there's no way he's gonna do this. But I went for it. Let me tell you people. Brian is EVERYTHING everyone else is saying. I was in at 8AM and out at 4PM. He had a box of parts by his desk and went through everything thoroughly. He even offered to wash the car. all for $795. I will NEVER go any where else... EVER! Just so you know, He did all this for $795 Timing belt - replace Water pump -replace trans fluid - flushed Coolent - replaced Engine and Cabin Air Filters - replaced Brake inspection Oil pan drain plug gasket - replaced New Oil Filter New tensioner bearing for the timing belt New ideler bearing Rotate tires Inspect everything I'm still just blown away... more

I'm so glad I called Brian about getting a clutch changed. The price he quoted was quite reasonable, but since I had a quote from another shop that was lower, he offered to price match the quote! The shop is clean and organized, he seems to be a very sharp, meticulous and conscientious technician. The car was done on time and he even washed and vacuumed it when he was done. Judging from his vintage 510, I was confident he was a true gear head. more

Amazing service! I took my 2002 Toyota Camry to Toy Auto Clinic from recommendation of a friend. I was so pleased with how Brian treated me and my Camry. There price is very reasonable. He seems to be very honest and kind, explained everything clearly, and did not force any kind of up sell! I experienced many hard sells at Jiffy Lube than made me feel like I got ripped off after leaving. Highly recommend Toy Auto. Their workmanship is excellent and I wish all businesses could be as friendly and dependable! more

I have a 2007 Toyota Prius and I used to get it serviced at the dealership. I have not heard great things about the Toyota dealers in this area and a friend recommended Toy Auto Clinic. I have had bad experiences with mechanics in the past, haven't we all, but Brian at Toy Auto Clinic is personable and helpful. His prices are better than the dealership and I really felt like he listened to me and asked the right questions. He took the time to look the car over while I was there and answer my concerns and questions. He didn't have the part on site and had to get it from a dealer because Prius parts are still hard to find, but he had it at his shop in the time it took me to walk down the street and have lunch. (at most half an hour) Prior to this repair, I called to find out if it was something they could do because everyone was telling me I HAD to go to the dealer for a Prius repair, but he was helpful and answered my questions and told me to come in any time. I didn't feel that I was getting the brush off that dealers often give you on the phone. Great service, friendly, helpful, great prices. Even though this is a little far from my house, this is where I am taking my car for all repairs from now on! more

I've been going to the dealer for the past 7 years that I've had my Toyota Corolla. I know, biggest mistake ever, but I have this thing, where I just don't feel confident that another autoshop can do the job right! After 7 years, lots and lots of money spent, I realized that each and every time I get an oil change, something is wrong with my car! And that has to be completely impossible; they're just trying to rip me off of my money! So testing the waters I decided to go against my own personal reservations and try Toy Auto Clinic. It has been the best decision I've made thus far. Brian was so awesome, straight forward, honest, and overall a real nice guy. Knew his work and totally put his trust in my hands. Like a real mechanic should. I originally got an estimate from Toyota 101 of $400, which is insane and not within my budget. And, when I asked for an estimate of the same exact work, I got a quote of $175, which is less than half of what Toyota was asking of me! Plus, they insured me they used the same parts as the dealer. OMG! I was sold. I'm happy to be supporting a local business! You should do it too :) more

So my car needed a brake job and new battery, I never thought I could find a Redwood City auto shop that is honest. But here it was. Free towing if your car is broken down, also honest service, a really good mechanic. It's important to me that someone will not just charge me whatever, that they will find the cheapest or most affordable parts in the neighborhood. Sunny knows most of the auto dealers around here and does just that. Pros: parts are discounted, service is good, free towing, HONEST Cons: Man I can't think of any more
