Very thorough and professional service. Only gets 2.5 stars because, like all medical services worldwide, it should be paid for via taxation. Why should the poor be punished? $400...

Every time I have a visit at Towncrest it is a pleasurable experience. Can you believe that? It is absolutely true. I have had cleanings, fillings, bonding,and bridge installations. I have found each service offered to be done so in EXCELLENCE. The staff is friendly and the service provided is professional, painless, and caring. Dr. Davidson ROCKS! I would recommend anyone to visit Towncrest Dental. more

it went well,little pain. Seemed to resolve the problem 3/1/2011

Emergency visit for an abcessed tooth. I was able to get in quickly with no waiting. Dr Davidson performed a root canal with little discomfort to me. I have had little pain since the procedure. more

Outstanding. 2/23/2011

I drive approximately 1.5 hours to get to Towncrest because I have so much confidence in this group. I am very impressed with the technology (such as the automatic survey, appointment reminders, etc.). My extraction was not fun of course, but Dr. Ballard and Katelin did such a nice job of making me comfortable that it was actually a pleasant experience. more

Dr.Jay and his staff are always wonderful. Did see the woman dentist once because Dr. Jay was gone. I wasn't at all impressed with her however. more

routine exam 2/16/2011

The hygenist was vert thorough, and the dentist was personable and checked for things beyond my teeth, like jaw movement and joint pain. more

Follow up root canal 2/8/2011

Dr. Davidson and his assistant are wonderful! I would highly recomend him to any of my friends or family without any hesitation!! in fact, I have already told my wife to schedule an appointment for check up! Thanks again to Dr. Davidson, and all of his staff for being the most enjoyable experience I have had in 30 years of seeing dentists! more

Iowa City's Best 1/28/2011

Dr. Jay Davidson and dental hygienist Debbie (in his practice) are the best dental care team I have ever had in my long life. Don't go anywhere else if you can help it. I have been their patient for 4 years now, and have had both routine care and major procedures there. more
